  1. All the routing was correct. I think the problem I was having was you first need to hit play in order to make the Aux channels "live". Figured that out by accidentally hitting spacebar and then finally hearing all the drums through their assigned aux channels. HOORAH!!! One hurdle behind me. Cheers to the thousand more ahead. LOL!!
  2. and I'm using the AU TEmplate from Toontrack. Everything seems like it's routed correctly, but all I hear is the kick from the instrument track. The aux tracks (which aare routed properly) are getting no signal.
  3. I knew it had to be something so simple. Damn it!!!! HAHAHA!! Thanks for your help. Much appreciated.
  4. I'm still really new with Logic and haven't read through the entire manual, so please forgive the stupid post. Last night I was recording a two bar beat in Logic. So I put logic in cycle mode, so I can record each pass of the drum part one at a time. So on the first pass, I recorded the Kick and Snare. Then on the second pass I recorded the hi-hat. Everything worked fine until I opened the editor window and noticed I only see the the Hi Hat notes and not the Kick and Snare. But I still hear the kick and snare. So if I wanted to edit, let's say the kick, I couldn't, because I couldn't see the kick note. Also, When I copied the region and pasted it to another section of the song, I only heard the hi-hat on that region. So, I wonder if there's a way to "midi-merge"?. Meaning, I would like to have all the notes I recorded in each pass using cycle mode in the same region, and not regions that are stacked on top of eachother. That way when I double click the midi region to edit the notes, all the notes are there regardless of how many passes I did in cycle mode. Also, is there a way to record midi that will record over the previous midi notes? The opposite of midi-merge. Thanks for your help.
  5. Downloaded the template. Thanks! That's exactly what I needed I'm sure I'm going to have lots of other questions, so I want to say thanks an advance for all the help.
  6. Sorry for having my first post be so stupid, but I can't figure this out. I just bought Logic to use in my home studio. I've been using Pro Tools for the last 6 years (still do at the studio) and bought Logic because I wanted something more powerful at home and didn't have the money to buy an HD System for home and the PTLE is just too crippling. What I need help on is setting up EZDRUMMER to run as a multiple output instrument. I also want to be able to create audio files of each drum channel to import into Pro Tools. I've been having trouble doing this. I inserted EZDrummer (mulitchannel) in an Instrument Track. Created 8 Aux channels. But when I go to select the the inputs on the Aux tracks, there's no CHannel 1 or 2. It starts at Channel 3. So if someone can qive me a quick tutorial on how to set up EZDRUMMER so I can record multiple outputs onto an audio track that I will be able to import into Pro Tools, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks!
