  1. I have OS 12.5. on my Mac, does anyone know why Logic 10.8 would be showing as an update? Thanks
  2. Hi folks, I’m curious which you recommend for my M1 machine? Thanks!
  3. sorry to be obtuse. so I will ask a couple questions. is Logic supposed to preview wav files in loop browser at project tempo (when set to)? because it doesn't on my machine. When attempting drag wav files in as described, and using the setting above "Keep" "on align bar beats" The manual states this should achieve aligning a wav loop to existing project tempo. But, on my system it doesn't. do these questions make sense
  4. The Logic manual simply states set project settings to Keep tempo and check "set imported files to"..."On align beats and bars" Yet, not only do wav loops NOT preview in the loop browser at project tempo, when dragged in, they do NOT align. They must be flexed in order to be time corrected. so, what is the point of the above claim, if one must flex files upon dragging into project anyway?
  5. “One must learn to walk before one can fly”… Thanks !….I’m familiar, Logic does not work as explained, it’s that simple.
  6. Hi, I've been trying to use this function, "Keep tempo" and settings "On align bars and beats"...when dragging in wav loops. What is the trick to using this function, it doesn't seem to be working for me.
  7. Hi Folks, after dragging a folder of wav loops onto the loop browser I created an un indexed set of loops…cool. But these don’t follow tempo, they aren’t apple loops. is there a way to batch convert? Thanks!
  8. Hi David, thanks for checking it out. I usually track a scratch Gtr along with the Drums, and work from that. Sometimes a bass track with the drums. Thanks again! PM
  9. I don’t see really any rock stuff here, might be the wrong hang for me to share?
  10. No. this seems to contradict what fader just said,..no?
  11. guys, you are and have been helpful so I mean no disrespect whatsoever. But, you make it sound like it's no big deal, I mean. How freaking complicated does this s#!+ need to be? When ALL DAWS have adc across the stream to the point that you don't have to think. Except idiot PT-LE. Logic is great but,.....PuLease! Here's my temporary workaround. http://www.steinberg.net/en/products/musicproduction/cubase5_product.html PMcc
  12. totally hear you on the pre-delay. I guess my concern and big question is Are ANY tracks going to be shifted due to the effects on busses? thanks again. P
  13. OK, thanks So no reverb sends (BUSSES) should be used on already recorded tracks. I guess I'm alone in thinking, this is a joke. I mean,... no one needs a reverb buss to do overdubs to some wet tracks,.they are even set up in the Logic Templates. I must be mis-understanding.
