Cool, but if it starts to download the 10.5 version and I stop, would it let me download 10.4.8 when I move to the older computer? Or might it say something like this computer doesn't support this app and disallow the download?

Just tried and the msg said "your payment method will be charged and the app will begin downloading immediately." Didn't look like it was giving me the option to postpone download.

Thanks for the suggetion. I'm kinda desparate. I can borrow a mini that runs Mojave but would it not just download the latest version and not even offer me 10.4.8? And if purchased on the Mini, how could i get it to download on the Mac Pro?

After a long hiatus I want to get back to recording. I have an older version of logic 9. I upgraded my 2009 Mac Pro to run High Sierra and now Logic 9 doesn't work. No problem-I was planning to purchase LPX anyway. But now Apple only offers 10.5 which won't run on High Sierra. I'm stuck in the middle. Does anybody know where i can get an older version of 10? Apple support said it was originally released on discs. Thanks JP

I had been working all day with no problems in Logic and this same msg came out nowhere. Now I can't do anything. I have no PT drivers and I have moved all my other midi drivers to the desktop. Logic will load and open normally but as soon as i try to play anything I get the msg and my only option is to Force quit . This is awful.

I recently started getting this msg when opening Logic song files. Anybody know what it's about and why it only started appearing recently? Thanks

I have this problem sometimes too. So to clarify, should I change my processing threads from "auto" to "8" which is the max available option? And should "process buffer range" be changed from med. to large?

Try deleting them, then quit Logic and reopen it? Usually I delete one Faderport icon and leave the other one. This time i tried your suggestion and deleted both of them and quit Logic . When i reopened it it went straight to the song file so your suggestions seems to have worked. I'll keep my fingers crossed. Thanks so much David!

Well I do delete it. Every time I open Logic the control surface setup page opens with two instances of the Presonus Faderport listed. i have started a new topic about it here.... viewtopic.php?f=1&t=88308 Again thanks, JP

Funny but i don't see it listed there. When I open that page I only see audio devices.
