  1. No you have to cut/edit the midi clip as whatever one is highlighted in the time line is the one effected by the drummer control.
  2. I rechecked, this time plugging in my controller keyboard and it worked fine, must be a bug with the Computer Qwerty Keyboard input as this does not trigger the articulation, just plays the legato note whatever setting it is on Thank-you for checking, will submit a bug report to apple
  3. If someone could confirm please would be grateful. Open Logic x, create empty project, add track with software instrument with open library ticked, pick orchestral/string/pop strings. Click smart controls, and play, changing the legato/staccato/pizzicato/tremolo buttons. On mine the sound doesn't change. Please confirm if it is a bug or just me then I can take the issue further with Apple
  4. I'm having issues with the new orchestral instruments, most sound feature switches in them to allow for legato, pizz etc, but pressing the buttons doesn't actually do anything to the sound. Anyone else having this issues as it does render most of the orchestral sections useless
  5. Great voice (especially when you push it to it's limits sounds brilliant), lots of tracks on there to go through which will check out given more time (not keen on myspace as it's a big pond to sink in lol but you seem to be doing ok there lol) but had to drop in and congratulate you on some cool tracks for now. Hard to be constructive as you seem to have your own sound and know what you are doing so can offer little in the way of helpful comments other than to say keep truckin'
  6. Started making music last year in June and began by starting an album to celebrate the upcoming Olympic games in London in 2012 (yep I'm well early lol) Currently completed about 8 tracks for the project and this is a tennis themed track from the album 'Olympique' http://www.mp3unsigned.com/showmp3.asp?mp3id=47437 By way of contrast also working on a pop album as I love 80's based synth pop, particularly Yazoo (yay they are performing live again soon) and Vince Clarke so here is a more poppy ditty with my vocals lol http://www.mp3unsigned.com/showmp3.asp?mp3id=47310 Both were started in Ableton lIve but I moved over to Logic Studio and redid them with some guitar from two friends acoustimick and Jospeh Rodriguez as I can't play guitar at all lol. Any constructive help or advice would be great
  7. Just had to stop by and mention this is probably the most useful forum post I have ever seen, these presets are gold keep em coming, just using the Logic browser to audition presets in plug ins makes making music so much easier, had to commend every last poster you are all stars thank-you so much. Look forward to some Arturia and more Papen stuff
  8. Thought I'd quickly say hello to everyone, been a lurker for some time and finally took the Logic plunge recently Great board, great advice, been getting some great tip especially regarding channel setting and plug in settings, look forward to checking out everybodies tunes in the music lounge
  9. I'm sure it will be amazing, the other poster who mentioned the library coming on an external drive actually had a very good idea never thought of that, a simple usb 100 gig drive isn't that expensive and it would totally simplify the install needs of the software, and wouldn't add that much onto the retail price (I mean the thing isn't gonna be cheap anyway so whats a extra 50 quid on the price) Looks amazing the demo was very THX startup tone as the other poster said, but did enough for a teaser to get everyone excited
