  1. Hey everyone, I am having a hell of a time finding the right cable to connect my Unitor and AMT together. Any of you happen to have an extra RS-422 cable laying around, or can anyone point me in the right direction? Any help would be very much appreciated. Thanks all.
  2. I am selling an extra emu rom I have left over. It's the Soniq rom (QRom 2) from the Proteus 2000. Will also work in other E-Mu Synths/Sound Modules. Here's my add: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&item=170342012555 No Reserve.
  3. Still available first $300 takes it, or I am still open to trades......
  4. I have an add up on CL here in the San Francisco area: http://sfbay.craigslist.org/eby/msg/1143339097.html If you email me and tell me your from this forum, i'll take $300 shipped (cont. US). Check out the CL add if interested. Thanks guys.
  5. My powerbook is actually my editing computer. I run Pro tools on it. I know I know, I don't have Logic on mine, but I didn't need it for what I am doing with my powerbook. As it is, I only have like 15 gigs of hard drive space left. Not to mention, i went through the same thing you are going through, and I ended up just buying an Imac. You will be better off. Oh, and BTW, don't run your sounds from a time capsule. Wireless data transfer for sounds is not a good Idea. You'd be better off with a firewire external.
  6. You could run Logic Studio on there with 1.5 gig processor, and 2 gigs of ram. It will take up alot of memory though if you install it whole (instruments and all) on your internal hard drive. Check the system requirements on the website: "Minimum Requirements to Install All Applications • Mac computer with a 1.25GHz or faster PowerPC G4 processor (PowerPC G5, Intel Core Duo, or Intel Xeon processor highly recommended) • 1GB of RAM (2GB or more highly recommended) • Display with 1024-by-768 resolution (1280-by-800 or higher recommended) • Mac OS X v10.4.9 or later • QuickTime 7.2 or later • DVD drive for installation • PCI Express, ExpressCard/34, USB, or FireWire based audio interface recommended Available Disk Space • 7GB to install all applications and required content • Additional 39GB to install all optional content (large content packages can be installed on separate disk): – 10GB for Jam Pack collections – 16GB for sound effects – 6GB for surround music beds – 7GB for other optional content"
  7. I figure Rock Band coming out for the Nintendo Wii today was a sign, so i'm hoping.... Yes, I am in my late 20's, but really is anyone too old for Rock Band?! I think not. Of course, I could ask for some gear, but my wife already has a jealousy complex toward my gear, so, probably not. Hope everyone is having a good weekend. I am actually working. Aahh to be an adult with bills and rent. I know, kinda random, but I am on my 15 min. break.
  8. The money was still in my account. What I could have done was cancel my echeck ($25 cancellation fee). I ended up not having too, because I had a super cool seller, and he just cancelled my payment on his end. But my bank could have cancelled it like a check. Hope that helps a little.
  9. I had the same thing happen, when I messed up and accidentally paid for something twice. I called paypal, and they did nothing. My bank could have cancelled it for a $25 fee (which in your case would be totally worth it). Yea, paypal has lost some points with me.
  10. I have to see what time I work on the 10th, but if I can, i'll meet up. My email is JAyersMusic@mac.com. Keep me posted.
