OK, I have tried to get answers for playing 2 keyboaerds live with Logic and though I appreciate the suggestions, they have not been the right answer for me.
Let me try to explain.
I am using several tracks with many different sounds split all over the keyboard using the Inspector key limit range.
I have these tracks that are in groups (with the record button enabled) so when I arm one track in a group it turns all of the tracks that I use in one song in the live show.
Recently I purchased the Ravenscroft 275 software and love the piano sound.
So on keyboard one I want to play the Ravenscroft Piano in Logic (as a plugin) and keyboard 2 play all the other tracks in Logic.
If there is no other way I could try using the Ravenscroft as a standalone.
The "auto -demix by channel if multitrack recording" does not work for me because all the tracks that are armed don't all play together as they do when I do not use "auto -demix."
I have no intentions of using MainStage as someone suggested because I have everything set up in Logic the way I need it to be and used to working with it.
I really don't think that what I am trying to accomplish in regard to playing 2 keyboards in a live context is uncommon.
Unfortunately I lack the midi knowledge of routing signals and hope someone can help
thanks in advance
