Hm? What took you so long then? . 1) I was sick and wasnt on my computer for a few days 2) I'm a bit of a newb myself and rarely feel qualified to respond unless I am certain. It seems that if a question isn't answered in a couple of days, it drops off the radar..no ? I realize that my complaint is a bit like "looking a gift horse in the mouth" and I do apologize for that.

If I understand your question...try this. In the mixer select the aux and under options (I think) pick the choice that says something like "create arrange track for selected.."...now you have the bus in the arrange window and can automate any plugins. I really dont understand why someone else didnt answer your question sooner. I fsee that quite a few questions dont get answered on this forum

I also use Nexus-- I cant remember if the install program has an uninstall option or not. I did notice that there is a new version (1.4.0,since March 16th). Good luck !

I am just about finished with a large (for me) project with 40+ tracks and many,many plugins. Everything has been running surprisingly well, except that now if I try to move an ultrabeat window, I get a spinning beachball for over a minute. If I try to move any window when the ultrabeat window is open I get the beachball also. If I close the ultrabeat window, everything is fine. I've seen a few other posts relating to a similar issue but I dont remember if there was any workarounds ? Any ideas ? The problem is only with this project. Thanks

Yes, many threads just like this one--One interesting fact is that while these problems are 100% reproducible on the systems of those having the problems, they are not reproducible on everyone else's system. Despite all of the reported issues, I have yet to hear anyone say that there is a KNOWN bug .

Thanks J. Was it the Ultra pitch for you also ? And did it look OK in the AU but didnt appear in the list ? Did you just do a rescan and then it was in the list ? I probably eventually will do what you suggest, but I dont forsee an immediate need for that plug anyways.

Hi -- Last night I installed the Waves Platinum bundle (had it on my PC) on both my MacBook and MacPro. The install and authorizations seemed to go fine, however once inside LP8, I noticed that some of the plugins are not available on the drop down list, specifically the UltraPitch plugins. I checked the AU Manager and they are checked and listed as validated. I did rescan them and they again passed, but do not appear in the drop down insert menu. Any ideas ? Everything is the most recent 5.9.7 versions. Thanks, Dan

Did you confirm that the automation is set to "READ" ? I read on another forum about people having some problems with some of their tracks automation being set to OFF inadvertantly.

I do a lot of midi recording and playback and have never had this problem... Are you saying that your midi parts are getting automatically muted ? If you record-arm the track that the parts are on (the parts that dont play) and play some notes through your controller, do you get sound ?

The Access Virus is a hardware synth that has a VST (AU) interface , so in many respects its as easy to use as a soft syth. It is almost infinitly tweakable.
