  1. Thanks David, the problem is....Bouncing works sometimes (ALWAYS works if the project is freshly loaded. sometimes works if its been open a while. That is what makes troubleshooting the plugins very tough. I will be sure to report back if I figure out its a plugin issue.
  2. Happens on both. when i use external clock or internal sync. I noticed that logic x also appears to load plugins differently when opening projects from other people. It will say that some plugins didn't load even though they were created with the same (paid for) plugins on a different computer running the same version of logic.
  3. did you not see I posted them immediately afterwards? Sig is updated now. Anyways, it seems like this might be something beyond the scope of what i'll be able to fix.
  4. ^yeah, I've tried that already. The fact it happens after the project has been open a while led me to think it was a RAM issue, but then it started working miraculously that one day. Every day since though. Same old story. As a matter of fact just loading logic back up from a crash as I write this.
  5. Not sure where my sig is. Anyways here's my specs. Motu Traveller with external Midi Clock into the Saffire Pro 40 for the outputs. (using latest released firmwares on these) OSX 10.9.2 Logic 10.0.6 Mac Pro 12 core nahalem 32 gigs Ram 2x Samsung Solid State 250 in a Raid Configuration
  6. Hello! Logic X is Freezing/Beach Ball working on projects that i've imported onto my computer via dropbox from another user. (this ONLY happens when working on projects I've pulled off the cloud) It happens after the project has been worked on for 5 (no set time) minutes or so. I can actually bounce some stuff right off the bat, but if I start working then want to bounce something I tweaked (if i messed around long enough) It freezes. Doesn't matter if it's Offline Bounce, online, bounce in place. Any rendering to Disk freezes. I've tried consolidating. Resaving project. Tried from different drives. repaired permissions. All plugins are registered and there are no "time-bomb" demos. I have actually got it to stop freezing one time on accident while messing around with settings in the saffire to get my talkbox working. In Saffire's Mix Control I switched to low latency recording, but then the next day I switched everything back to monitor from the DAW instead of the Mix and I have not been able to replicate my "accidental" fix. Anyone have any ideas? It's extremely frustrating to try and mix down a project that crashes every 5 minutes then takes 5 minutes to load again.
  7. Make sure you defined your midi out channels per track on your mpc.
  8. I'm guessing your new to logic, no offense. It's quite easy to get lost in a new DAW, especially LOGIC. I would suggest that you read the recording portion of your manual. It's how I figured it out. Or even better, watch sfxninja's videos on youtube. just type in logic tutorial videos and it should pop it. Anyhow, You should be able to hear it in Audio channels. I will try to explain the best I can because I have the 2000xl hooked up to my audio Interface through the audio input. Since you are seeing results in your midi instrument you know that its communicating properly through your soundcard. So what you need to do is this. In the Mixer. Go to logic audio track 1. Go down to where it says input 1 or input 2. and change these until you see audio coming in. but DON"T forget to press the Record button once until it is blinking. Or else you wont hear or see any input in the audio tracks mixer. If you are not hearing sound STILL, make sure you set up your audio interface correctly on your mac during your installation. You might have luck on their boards if you get this far and get stuck. It'd be a good idea to browse their manual also. Best of luck, but I wouldn't stop short of making sure you are seeing that audio signal coming into audio track 1. if you get this figured out I'll help you out with using Logic as a master to make the mpc play along when you hit play ect. Good luck. 8) 8) 8) 8) 8)
  9. Make sure that you are selecting the right audio input in your mixer in Logic. Someone more qualified might be able to help you more but if you go to Window--->Track Mixer then click on Audio 1 track, go up to where it says Input 1 and make sure that is set to the right input channel. It should be the same one on your Audio interface (where you plugged the cable from your MPC to the audio input). Hope that helped.
