  1. posted in feature wish list "Individual scaling of plug-in windows (100%, 125%, 150%, 175% or 200%)" THANKS How does the analyzer look in the EQ when expanded? And how does the multi-meter look are the more bands when expanded?
  2. Redmatica designed a sampler to do just this called autosampler http://www.redmatica.com/Redmatica/AutoSampler.html
  3. sounds like there muted
  4. this link is better, and there are 41 comments! http://www.appleinsider.com/articles/09/0/13/apple_expected_to_release_new_final_cut_studio_near_nab_show.html
  5. Hmm . . I'm thinking some kind of "tempo crossfade editor" could be useful here too. something like STPs conform window? you guys have put these ideas down so eloquently, great reading!
  6. multiple video support & multi video export to compressor options I'd also REALLY like to see a FCP/STP styled Tabs so we could have multiple arrangements open and work between arrangements. I am constantly going back to musical sound design arrangements to add to current projects, they are almost like templates that I update and improve upon now, I dislike having to bounce them or turn them into green loops (even though I LOVE that option for other situations) It would be incredible to be able to open it up in your current project in another tab, on an independent or global timeline! There are unlimited possibilities for Logic, STP and FCP to work together, imagine if FCP could export its tabs in a multi video project to STP & Logic. And the conform window in STP, lets through that into Logic! pant rant, rant pant
  7. I like to get cues back to the director and editor asap and often try to email music daily in order for the project to grow or lean towards the tempo/dynamics of the music I have been spending my precious time on, this way WE can influence the visual side a little as well, I learnt that trick from Hans Zimmer who had his guys set up in the same building as the video post guys. also in the past year I've been accepting jobs editing video and writing the music which has been really cool, I don't know how these guys really edit video without audio
  8. is the audio imported or from a logic bounce or recording session recorded with logic? I may be wrong but heard once that the files have to be made with Logic, try bouncing them if there imported
  9. Did anybody read this? http://www.bigbluelounge.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=43188
  10. well sorry I can't help, OMF never worked properly but I did a lot of work with that format, ( when exported it had to be v2 and have the crossfade box unchecked for importing into logic 6 and logic 7 anyway), but it sounds like your right, exporting issues... Logic 7 use to add a few samples on to the start of a bounce and I used to rock it in by ear if I was importing it back into a mix, I've noticed this again lately working with friend on 7.2.3? there is a couple on milli seconds at the start on his bounces but in Logic 8 if I export the same loop or seq it is spot on. Perhaps when working to video the problem remains, well at least with cues anyway, really for me this is the best version for working with video, but then again, I have never exported video with cues, I've always supplied aiff given min/sec when necessary. We work with FCP in the next room and everything is at 48khz. OMF is happily forgotten about weather that is part of your problem or not. Did you try posting this over at the apple discussion boards?
  11. Guys this isn't a bug I've only had sync issues from khz issues 48/44, I know it has been stated in this thread that your set to 48khz... but maybe you should check again, the original file, what it is imported at, is there a conversion?, logics pref's and bouncing settings etc... 8.0.1 is tight for video on our PPC and intel desktops. If you are exporting segments of audio into a quicktime timeline perhaps test it by importing and exporting the whole movie to see if it makes a difference.
  12. I also go for the manual stutter technique but also the 'Zibba Stutter Plugin' is excellent, I googled it and didn't find it, if anybody wants I could upload the component somewhere? works well on my system, PPC/Tiger 10.4.11
  13. oop's your right, I need to read the posts more clearly... I don't really need my key. Apologies
