  1. What you're suggesting is not what happened. Since I recorded two tracks simultaneously, one audio and one software, shouldn't Command-Z undo them both at the same time?
  2. I've worked on a few projects lately where Command Z is not working as expected. I'll record something, hit Command Z and instead of deleting the audio file, another recent action is deleted (a change in a plug in, for example). Yesterday I was recording a software piano track and vocal simultaneously. When I hit Command Z the piano track was erased, but not the audio track. If I hit Command Z again, then a previous action (like the plugin change) was deleted, still not the audio track. Any ideas? JD Logic 10.2.4 OS 10.10.5
  3. Thanks, 'triplets' for the info. I'll check it out. And 'Jope'....thank you as well. I just don't like to see red whether I can hear distortion or not. Might not be the most educated response, but it's true!
  4. What solutions does anyone use when creating an mp3. Do you use a program other than Logic?
  5. I'm mixing in Logic 10.2.4 using Ozone 7 to master my track. I've set the Ozone limiter at -0.3 to avoid any overages. The WAV file reads back exactly that when I put it in a blank Logic file. I'm creating an MP3 in the same Logic project and it reads back at 0.0 on the peaks and shows overages on my audio interface. Any ideas as to why? I've attached a screen shot. The track on the left is a WAV. The one on the right is the MP3.
  6. Thank you, Alan, and "triplets." This helps. I probably hit a keystroke by mistake that converted TBA to RBA. One further question: once I've replaced RBA with TBA, can I get the wave form to revert to the normal view?
  7. This has happened occasionally and I can't figure out why. In the arrange window, an audio track with automated volumes suddenly has the automation lines pasted onto the wave form in standard waveform viewing and I can move the automation lines manually. When I switch to automation viewing, the display still looks the same. But it says "display off." If I switch to display on and choose volume, then all I get is a flat line without volume changes. 8. I have this problem as well. And it's currently occurring with a software instrument that's part of Logic, the Thumbstroke Bass. In my experience it is also random. I'm using "create take folders." When I record into a region, sometimes all the regions on that track will not play back. The main (top) folder is green, but when I pull the arrow down to see all the takes, all are greyed out. Highlighting them and hitting the "m" key will not change this. If I quit Logic and restart, then the regions that would not play before do appear as "muted" with the green halo around them and can be made to play again by hitting the "m" key. I have experienced this with other instruments before. Again it's random. I have checked "key commands" and that's not the problem. Thanks for any help anyone can give.
