  1. Correct Input selected on the Channel Strip?
  2. With Show Advanced Tools selected in Advanced preferences, go to Preferences>Audio>General. Is Sample Accurate Automation set to Volume, Pan, Sends, Plug-in Parameters?
  3. Not getting that here. Logic does it exactly like Reaper
  4. Uncheck Include Audio Tail in the Bounce dialog. Just be sure to set the end point to include things like cymbal decays, reverb tails, etc. Regarding a visual approach, drag to set a Cycle range in the Ruler that encompasses everything you want bounced before you Bounce. Just be sure to set the Cycle end point to include things like cymbal decays, reverb tails, etc.
  5. When comparing your mix to a commercially released song, bring the "professionally mixed/mastered song" into the project you're working in. Use your ears to bring its fader down (probably quite a bit) until the apparent volume matches the volume of your mix. Use Solo on the channel strip of the pro song to A-B back and forth until the volumes match. Now, you can compare the things that you CAN compare. Balance, Stereo Spread, Frequency Spectrum, Effects, etc I'm back!
  6. DO NOT DELETE the channel strip setting "Male Creamy Lead Vocal". STOP! DON'T DO IT!
  7. Yes & no Every set of speakers, headphones, room, car, etc will sound different. You want to listen for TRENDS. Like: It sounds boomy everywhere and destroys laptop speakers It sounds great in your primary headphones, but lacks bass on every set of real speakers Every other scenario you can imagine. Make sure all the "ear candy" is OFF in itunes. EQ = OFF Sound Enhancer OFF Sound Check = OFF
  8. Click on the line between the two nodes and pull down.
  9. How does it act without Chrome, Spotify, and Finder open?
  10. Usually, when using sends from channel strips to an Aux with a reverb inserted, you would leave the Dry setting at 0. This prevents increasing the dry level of whatever you're sending. Say you have your mix happening just where you want it and you decide the oboe needs some more reverb. If the Dry setting is on Max, when you turn up the send knob on the oboe, it's also going to turn up the dry oboe sound in addition to adding more reverb.
