  1. Ah OK. Thank you David. I'll investigate 10.7.3.
  2. Hello. This is a weird one. It happens with every MIDI region in this project. In short, changing the velocity of several MIDI notes in a region using the Velocity slider in the Piano Roll window causes the entire MIDI region to also be transposed by some random amount. This behaviour does not happen when using the velocity tool to change the velocity on the same notes. It drove me crazy before I worked out what was happening. Any ideas? Video Here: - Hmmm... Youtube embedding not working? Logic 10.7.2 // OS 11.6.4
  3. If the display is blank, toggling all AU windows with V doesn't make a difference. Thanks for your help David. I'll report it as a bug. Vertically, the full Au container isn't as obnoxious as the horizontal version, so I'll leave it open and expanded vertically from now on.
  4. Horizontal / Vertical makes no difference. Unlocking the screenset and jumping back and forth between different screensets makes no difference. If the window header is hidden, the container shows up blank.
  5. Hmmm... that seems to keep the display showing between screenset switches. Thanks. Expanded like that it does mean the plugin window is about 40% redundant though! So is this a bug with the "Show / Hide Window Header" options in LevelMeter? MultiMeter doesn't exhibit the same behaviour. Peculiar!
  6. Which preference is that exactly? Where do you find that? I click the little oblong in the top right of the LevelMeter AU container. There is a drop down menu with Controls / Horizontal / Vertical options as well as display size preferences. As described, changing any of these causes the interface to display. But moving to a different screenset, then back to the original brings up a blank AU container again. It doesn't matter if I try and Unlock / Relock screenset [1] either.
  7. Thanks for the quick response! Nope - link is not on.
  8. Hi all. Logic 10.4.8 Mojave Late 2015 iMac I've had this issue for well over a year, so I guess it's time to finally try and squash it. I work with the same screensets that I have used for years. Screenset 1 is the main arrange page, zoomed out, with 2 plug in windows open: - The Level Meter, in slot 1 of the [Output 1-2] Channel - The Multimeter in slot 10 of the [Output 1-2] Channel So when I hit [1] on my keypad, the arrange page opens up, with these 2 plugin windows open along the bottom of the page. At some point, the Level Meter plugin started opening up blank. i.e. a black box with the standard AU window buttons, but no plug in controls or display. - If I close the plug in window, and click to re-open it in the channel strip, it remains blank - If I expand or minimize the interface, it remains blank Some progress... - If I expand the interface, and select "Horizontal" (or "Vertical" - i.e. the opposite of whatever is currently displayed) in the display preferences, it reappears - If I close the LevelMeter, the move it to a different plugin slot, the reopen it, the interface shows as expected - But in both these cases, if I then switch to a different screenset, then back to screenset [1], the interface returns to a blank box What might be causing this behaviour with Logic's inbuilt meter plugin? Any clues? Short of a complete wipe and re-install of Logic, is there anything I can try? Thanks!
  9. Ah - yes. Thank you! Must have accidently changed it in a clicking frenzy. It was set on "Shuffle L".
  10. Hi All Hopefully this is just a quick setting to be changed somewhere. I don't know where to begin when trying to look it up. Suddenly a Logic project I am working on has new editing behaviour - if I delete a MIDI region between 2 other MIDI regions, the regions on the left then shift into the space that is left by the deleted region. Usually deleting a region will just leave a blank space. Similarly, if I drag and copy a MIDI region onto another region, the existing region in that space moves to the right, to make way for the copied region. Usually the copied region will just sit on top of the existing region, ready to be merged or whatever. I can fix this behaviour by importing settings from another project, but I'd love to know what's changed so that I can work out why it's happening. Is there some kind of editing option I've unintentionally activated somewhere? Thanks for any pointers.
  11. Can anyone please track down the direct links [i.e. audiocontentdownload.apple.com.... ] for the new additional content for me? Someone kindly posted some direct links to the huge drum designer packages last time around. My connection is slow and unstable. I've tried and failed 3 times now to download the new content by leaving my machine running overnight. I just come back to error messages each time about the connection dropping.
  12. Good news - This appears to be fixed in 10.0.5.
  13. Hi all The EQ tab in Space Designer is broken for me in Logic 10.0.4 / Mavericks. Attached is an image of what i see instead of the expected EQ interface. Can anyone else confirm this is a bug?
  14. Hi all Hopefully a quickie here. I hit some key command by mistake and now my arrange page ruler is displaying time instead of Bars / Beats etc. How do I switch it back? I have dug around the various preferences and menus with no joy. Closest I've found is "Secondary ruler", which displays the ruler I want, but small and nested above the current ruler. The only reference I could find to changing the displayed ruler value in the manual is this: http://support.apple.com/kb/PH13141?viewlocale=en_US&locale=en_US But the View menu in my audio editor does not offer these options. Control clicking the ruler brings up a totally different menu as well. I'm confused. I'm sure switching ruler display values was a lot more straightforward in L9.
