  1. Thank for the cap fix. Not shouting. )) I use cap lock while mixing. Thnx for all responses too. Much appreciated.
  2. Thnx guys. This is for a drum student of mine. She is running sierra on a late model mac book pro. I am fine with my set up but no sierra for me hence my questions. So, if i install 10.0.6 for her first, then upgrade her to 10.2, we should be good. Or, can i just install 10.2 straight away without installing 10.0.6 first. Thnx so much for the quick replies. G
  3. I want to install logic pro x, mac with sierra, 10.12 Do i need to install 10.0 first and do step by step upgrades to 10.2? Will logic 10.0.6 work on osx sierra? if so, i'm good with that for now. Could not find specific info on this online. Thnx and sorry for cap lock. G
  4. thanks guys. i was told some stuff that is apparently not true at all. g
  5. Thanks and sorry for the thread issue. I have heard many people say that you cannot run Logic X on anything but Mavericks (10.9 ) or later. Are you sure I will not have a problem in Mountain Lion 10.8? When you said up to 10.7 I assume you meant anything after 10.7, correct? Thanks so much. G
  6. david, been a while. any way to run logic x on mac 10.8?
  7. Not running Omnisphere but will check others. Thanks g
  8. I recently got a new Mac Pro Tower. It's fantastic. 12 cores /2.9GHz. Anyway, when I open Logic 9, i get this network connection pop up that I have never gotten before with my laptop. 1. Is a network connection beneficial as the pop up says and if so why aside of the obvious reasons like updates etc. 2. How can I stop this pop up from popping up? It slows down the loading time of logic to open my session cause I have to click deny then it pops up again and I have to click deny again. I am on Safari/ Mountain Lion and have my "block pop up windows" checked. Thanks. See attachment please. G NYC

    scoring

i need to score 2 staff's in treble clef that have different musical lines for a choir. how can i do this and then bracket the 2 treble staff lines together. thanks. i have tried and tried. g nyc
  10. it seems i can only burn a disc as .aiff files. i have read that burning a disc as .aiff or .wav files is the same quality as far as the product is concerned but only different terminology according to certain systems according to some sources. then at the same time, we are told by disc burning companies to hand in discs with .wav files for best results. it seems i cannot burn a disc as .wav files in disc burner but only as .aiff files. so i ask, can i burn a disc as .wav files? if not why? if not, then is it ok to hand in an album project for duplication using .aiff without losing any quality in the tracks? thanks g nyc
  11. not sure. will have to get back to this in a bit. thanks for the suggestion. g nyc
  12. i simply hit rescan from the AU manager window. rescan plugins. i can def try to trash the AU units cache. keep ya posted. thanks brotha. g nyc
  13. hey guys...... tried both. no go. can't find it anywhere else and rescanned the plugs to no avail. even copy and pasted the title in the au manager to my finder search field and nothing came up. not that big a deal i guess, just that logic now tries to rescan that plug when i open any session, anytime, and i have to deal with the pop up. by the way, now the AU manager says this ( see new attachment )instead of what it did say in the original attachment i sent. thanks again as usual guys. good to hear from you jordito. been a while. g nyc
  14. i cannot seem to locate this in my components folder and i do not see an unused components folder and i would like to remove it. see attachment. its the unchecked plugin. thanks g nyc
  15. thanks simon. will give it a shot when i return home. g nyc
