  1. I wish there was a 'like' button for that post
  2. If I understand the question: press escape to pop up the drop down menu, then press command plus the number of the tool you want for your command click tool.
  3. You've got me curious. Does the first set of dashes do something?
  4. You can option click on a region on the arrange page, scroll to Move, then set the Nudge value to the value wanted and use the Command Arrow tools to move as needed. Or it might be Option arrow. Option K to get the key commands, then type nudge in the window and see what's set up. I just checked and found Option Arrows to move not command arrow
  5. Might be the Out button at the top left of the piano roll. It should be green to hear the notes when you click or move them.
  6. I don't remember the sequence exactly, but if you take off cap lock and press the transport (spacebar) then stop it it should stop the stuck note. or it might be the reverse of what I said. Experiment... hth
  7. I just got FCP a few weeks ago. Then I read the article and thought shi- then today I saw this http://news.cnet.com/8301-13579_3-20005409-37.html EDIT: iMovie 9 is a lot more robust than iMovie8. I never used iMovie HD.
  8. try this in Spotlight type 'wav' then highlight one of the wav files. At the bottom of the Finder window there will be a file path. Chose the last folder or perhaps next to last to find the WAV files. the earlier folders have files that are native to Native Instruments. EDIT: and in a shameless self plug, here's a video that goes over how to make your own drum kits in Ultrabeat.
  9. But would it be worth it? I mean how much cash does a piano carry around? And when they string you up, they wouldn't have to look for the wire to hang you with. Better not roll that piano. Not brave, just young and foolish.

  11. I'll defer to Ted too, it's so obvious he knows what he's talking about. Why, yes we are

  13. I know... must learn to refresh page more often. I blame firefox which is kinda sluggish on me these days Hmmm, I'm using FF also. I was thinking more that my connection only has to go 400 miles to get to LA, yours has to go around the world. See, a time lag It makes sense. Doesn't it? It does give me a chance to say i've been watching some of your videos on Mac Pro. The advanced Mac OS videos. You do a good job. Thanks for your help
