hey guys i was interested in knowing if logic pro can be installed on a external hard drive. i am in college and have Xcode 4 and Adobe CS5 on my mac book Specs: 2.4 GHZ intel Core 2 Duo 3 Memory 165GB of free space i have a External Hard Drive with 2 TB of space and was thinking the External Hard Drive would be better. is it possible?

Anyone have any hip hop drums? i am interested in getting some patches for some and i haven't seen any.

hey guys im going to be practicing in a venue soon and i was wondering whats the best way to set up everything for vocals. i was thinking using my computer as a soundboard for the vocals like trent does live (Nin). i was going to run: Mic- Tascam US-122L- usb- computer- direct box- snake- mixing board. is there a better way? and another question when trying to transfer the settings from studio to live what should i take in difference in settings? cause i dont wanna get up there and it be washed out. so any help?

im just looking for a mixing board that i can hook up to my logic so i can control everything from the mixing board and i can record into the mixing board that will go into logic and i can control everything in there.

hey guys im looking to buy a mixing board for logic. whats the best way to go for one? i been told get usb, but i dont know whats the best one. my budget is around $2,000 ---- i seen some that have 16 tracks but they track down to 2. i was wondering if there is a multi tracking mixer board. if not then i will take the 2.

good program. u have to download 2 programs to make it work fully (so u can see names and stuff) i put like 15 mins in it cause i dont know what i can do with it lol. but its cheap so why not get it

thanks. ya i was looking at the kontakt. i downloaded the demo and i was look its cool but idk if it can be a plug in for logic. if can please tell me how and i will get it. i seen some cool plugins from Gforce but they dont got strings. im finding out strings are hard to find but they add so much character to the songs i wanna use them in that i need to find a great set up for it

hey guys i was wondering whats some good 3rd part software instruments and Au's i might get the abbey road Package. but was wondering what else i should look into. i am looking for- Strings, Pianos, Organs, Mandolians, Brass, Synths, Drums, and maybe some microphone stuff like that will help out with the vocals to make it a bigger punch. thank you guys.

ok awesome thank you. im messing with it right now and i like it so far just trying to figure out how i can go back to no pitch after i bend it for a second. but if its easier to just create a track just for the bends then no worrys.

i have a casio and it has no pitch bend. it goes midi to the tascam us-122L then to logic. mainly i would be using the EXS24. i dont want it bend all the time. i just want it to bend on certian notes when its held so it sounds good.
