  1. Eric, you were right. I have not used any midi channels for this project yet midi channel #76 was set to Surround. How that happened I don't know. Sometimes Logic is not very logical. . . Eriksimon: Full props for the fox picture - auto correct seemingly didn't like the word 'doc'.
  2. I was working on s project when suddenly the output channel no longer has any insert slots. I tried making a new fox and then using the copy/paste method to replace the messed up output. That didn't work. Anyone have any ideas for this bit of fun?
  3. Hey Ski That was well written and clear. Thanks.
  4. Just erase the data you don't want. That's a bit cheaper than buying a new hardware piece
  5. Logic has been doing the same crash thing to me as well. I am running only 64 bit plugs, maybe too many of them but the 32bit bridge is not on. I can not find a pattern for the culprit. First Omnisphere, then BFD then Komplete is listed in the crash log. In a 4 hour session, I can expect 1-6 shutdown/restarts. The latest trick is my permissions for different files change on their own and it's locked as well. I was working on a song for an hour and when I hit save, I got a dialog saying "The location song Song 07 can not be determined" - my DATA drive had unmounted. Oh joy. Obviously I have no answers but the 32 or 64 question is not what is messing up my Mac Pro.
  6. Going thru the motions for Logic Pro > Download additional Content has never brought back any of the EXS24 files that have gone AWOL for me. I had quicker results finding the files in my backups.
  7. Here's a shot in the dark. FInd the original audio in the finder. Duplicate it and change the name. Import the new file to a new track and perhaps your day will be better.
  8. I went to the site and found this. RNDigital Labs is closed. November 11, 2009 We are very sorry to notify that RNDigital Labs has been closed effective immediately. We will let you know in more detail which circumstances have led us to make this decision. I really used Inspector XL a lot.
  9. I just finished going thru the compilation package from Martin, videos 101, 103 and 105. The first two were spot on. The last wasn't by Martin but was entertaining anyway. I highly recomend them. I came from a Pro Tools and DP background - Logic isn't always . . . logical.
