thanks for listening. So much stuff out there it's a little frightening, but not much else to do except do it and see what happens. Ron

Well..just finished a CD. Now it will go into the black hole that all indie CD's go into ..but before it disappears completely, I thought I'd post a tune or two. Go to my website http://www.ronbrault.com/music.html and click around..the new stuff is at the top under "the Wingnuts" Ron
  3. Hey...great thread ..very informative. I'm just moving into a mixing stage (Logic 8) so this is very timely, but I have a question. I'm got a file up and running... no plugs on the output 1-2, master track at 0, no clipping that I can see on any tracks, everything sounds "clean" and the wavs all look well within normal. I put the level meter up on output 1-2 and notice that I peak at +2-+4 area constantly, yet my RMS is well within normal. I pull down the output level yet get no change in my peaks or RMS. I know I'm missing something here...probably simple...but can someone point me in the right direction? How do I connect the fader to the actual levels as opposed to monitor sends. Am I asking the right question? Thanks..Ron
