  1. Anyone ever figure this out? I'm having the same issue with Logic 10.4.3 and High Sierra. It also crashes if I try to add a track. Thanks
  2. Not sure what caused the issue but I think it had something to do with my Waves plugins. When I opened a new project from a template any other plugin I added would open immediately but the Waves ones would take at least ten seconds to load. Once I put my Mac back online everything went back to normal.
  3. I'm not sure why it's working but it is now. Only thing I did was turn on wifi to go online to search for a solution. I've turned wifi back off and all projects still open
  4. Instead of starting new thread I figured I'd resurrect this one. None of my projects will open. I was able to open a new project and disable core audio. This allowed me to open all my other projects but all pluggins are disabled (red exclamation point). I tried enabling core audio but it freezes trying to load all the pluggins. Everything was working fine yesterday. I running Logic 10.2.2 with OS 10.9.5, and 16 GB of RAM. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
  5. Figured out the problem. Had some drum tracks hidden that were still going to the original bus. Once I got rid of those the stack works fine. Sorry for the waste of bandwidth
  6. Hello. Having issues with Summing Stacks. I have some projects that I imported from Logic 9. When I had them in Logic 9 I bussed my drum tracks to and aux for further processing (EQ and compression) but all the tracks had their own sends to reverb. When I opened these projects in Pro X I set all the outputs of the drums to stereo outs and deleted the original drum aux, Then I created a summing stack for the drums. My problem comes when I adjust the fader on "Sum 1" the sends on the drum tracks don't decrease. Just the volume. To explain better. The reverb sends stay at the same level. This doesn't happen on new projects. Am I doing something wrong and can this be fixed? Thanks.
  7. Thanks David. All my Logic 9 projects have that checked and any new project I create doesn't. Thanks again.
  8. Hello. I have an Alesis Q25 controller. When I use it in a new project in Logic X the volume slider doesn't do anything unless I assign it to something in the router, which I prefer. I have multiple projects that I imported from Logic 9 that are all audio. When I add a Logic instrument (ES2, Retro Synth...) the volume slider on the Q25 controls the track fader. Why is this happening and is there a way for me to choose what the slider controls? Thanks for any help.
  9. You could beat map it. Beat mapping will match the grid to your song. It's not hard to do and there are plenty of videos on YouTube explaining it.
  10. I have a Macbook with 2.4G processor,2G of RAM and 160G hard drive. I also have a My Book external hard drive with 750G of space and 7200 speed. I am pretty new to all this some I am not sure if I'm doing this right. I recorded live drums the other night using just my Mac. When I got home I copied the entire song folder onto my external hard drive including all audio files. When I was editing the song I used the file that was on the hard drive. No problems there. I tried to record some guitar today and Logic froze. I had to do a force quit. If I open the original song file not on the hard drive I can record no problem. Am I doing something wrong or something else the problem? I also tried starting a new song with the files initially saved on the external hard drive. Once I try to record it freezes. thanks for any help.
