Hey, Basically if i press play there is about a 2 second gap before the audio actually comes in, even though the vertical line is well into the track (I can't remember the name of that line). Samples and instruments are coming in all over the place and it's all out of sync. I bounced the track out and it sounded fine, but it's just impossible to work with as the tracks only half finished. It's also happening with all my old tracks as well. I also got this error message at one point and screen shot it, although this message hasn't appeared recently [Please see attached]. Normally it's just a job of quitting out and re opening but it's still not having any of it it. I'm only using 18 channels so it's not like I'm doing crazy things. Thanks that all worth noting! I think i'll just buy it and try and install it on both. I'll turn the airports off on the laptops so that "nobody knows" i'm using it and hope for the best. At the end of the day i need to upgrade so 1 licence is better than none. If i need to buy 2 copies for each laptop i still get studio 9 for £150 so it's still cheaper than paying out £408. I'm currently running logic express 8. I'm going to buy studio 9 because i can get a stupidly cheap student discount and need the upgrade. How many licenses do i get with Logic 9? I've got 2 laptops i want to install it on. I use both laptops live within my band (so they will be running at the same time). I own both, but my other band member uses the other one. Thanks

I was just wondering, you see these different sites selling presets for instruments like albino, predator and massive. Do anyone know if you have to obtain a license to sell presets because i was thinking about selling some of my settings for the ES2?

Sorry its just flown out my mind went to add a filter to the whole song for the start/into of the track and i can't remember how to get the master/main track automation up.

Hey guys, Basically none of my tracks sound loud enough compared to others. When i can get them sounding loud enough my main track is always in the in the red, which is not what you want. So the only way i can listen to it is if i turn my monitors up really loud but if i play another track that blares out ridiculously loud. I hope that makes sense. I just want to know how to make my tracks loud! The not really quite just significantly quieter than others. Thanks

Sorry I'm using: Logic Express 8.0.2 Version 10.5.7 MacBook 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo 2GB RAM Yeah I've rescanned in audio and midi setup and it says its there. I've tried both keyboards i own + other friends. My Macbook knows they are there but logic doesn't. where else can i look? Thanks again

Hey guys, I've litrally just opened logic and my keyboard isn't working, i've used it for months nearly year and it's always worked and no idea why it's not working now. all the lights and that are on on my keyboard i've checked all the preferences on the actual mac. It should just plug and play but it's not. I use 2 laptops that i use and it's not working in either of them. I know its not the keyboard because i've used about 5 differnt ones i can get hold of and none of them are working. Any suggestions? Thanks

I've just written an E.P with my band and were all electronic. I want to play one of the instrument tracks live on my midi keyboard. My idea was to bounce the whole song but without the track I'm going to play. Then open a new project with an audio channel with the song on it and then an instrument track with what i'm playing. What I'm worried about is it crashing on me or getting a system overload. I can't use Mainstage because I'm on a white Macbook and it doesn't run on it, even if i decided to get it. (atm i'm use logic express) any tips of what i could use instead or will logic be stable enough? Thanks

i've got the white macboook

1.) When i write mine i sometimes layer them with different instruments playing the same notes or double notes in different instruments. 2.) Or you can duplicate your bass track and then move the notes an octave higher or octave lower and see what it sounds like. 3.) Another thing is you could use a normal synth but on a lower octave and EQ more bass into it and use that as your bass sound. 4.) Extending your notes so they are closer together and sometimes overlaping them makes them sounds fuller and warmer. 5.) Try side chaining that makes bass lines sound better. http://www.youtube.com/user/SFLogicNinja he has a really good tutorial on side chaining 6.) good basslines tend to always write themselfs if your spending 5 10 mins on one bassline you can always trying starting again. some people may not agree with what i've said but it seems to work with me

Hey, i'm working with 2 producers on my bands new E.P (we're dance, electronic). Producer 1: I've written all our songs in logic and am working alongside this producer who is tweaking them and making them sound better and basically producing the E.P for us. Once the E.P is written how could i go about copywriting the songs we've written? do i even kneed to? I want them to be ours, all safe. Producer 2: Is a dubstep producer who is writing us an intro and outro for the E.P what can i do to stop him releasing those songs. I want them to be ours! Do i just ask him nicely? ------------------------------------------------ When playing live i use logic express because that what i own. I'm always paranoid it might crash or get a system overload what can i do to make it become a more stable platform to play live with? I've considered main stage but that won't work with my macbook because of the graphics issue says it's not good enough? Thanks,

is it possible to have 2 midi keyboards plugged into the same laptop but on different sounds? or would they both be playing what ever track was selected in logic. So like one keyboard playing Massive and another keyboard playing FM8 Or would it be a 2 laptop job

Just been listening to this remix and I'm really interested on how they make this fantastic sort of wobbling bass not sure the correct name but if anyone know how you make it please let me know.
