  1. Ugh... Thanks for the quick reply, much appreciated.
  2. Hey Sascha, I was just brought on for a new project and recently uncovered this bug as well (super frustrating to say the least). How did you end up 'fixing' / dealing with it exactly?? Thanks for any help
  3. I'm having the exact same issue and it's driving me crazy. I just had a session of Logic open with 1 instance of Omnisphere and literally nothing else (just one software instrument track to test). Loaded a preset and the glitches started. Loading any patch after once the glitch starts and it's continuous - the only way to resolve is to go into Logic's Audio Devices settings and reboot core audio. Super frustrating and am running out of ideas on how to resolve this. Buffer was set at 1024 (for testing purposes).
  4. Hey all, Here's the full mono preset list from Waves H-Delay (stereo version next). I put everything in their respected folders and made the "#default" setting the same as when you do a "full reset" of the plugin. FYI: some of the presets have a "watch out" tag due to excessive feedback - I left this tag out of the descriptions becuz I've never had an issue with it. YMMV. Enjoy. H-Delay (m).zip
  5. I found myself in a similar situation a few days ago. Talk about a buzz kill... And as Richard pointed out, at least Apple gave us the option to install QT 7 if needed. After scouring the web as to why QT X was missing so many features, I came across this article. Interesting read about QT X and where it's heading. There is hope. http://arstechnica.com/apple/reviews/2009/08/mac-os-x-10-6.ars/6
  6. ChicoSatis - thanks for the tips! Looking forward to finally checking this out.
  7. Hey ChicoSatis, When you quad track - are you playing the part 4 individual times? And as far as panning, I've seen some guys go 100% L/R then around 80% L/R for the 2 remaining tracks(?). I usually double or delay it (prefer doubling the part). Haven't tried quad yet, but have been wanting to. With that much distortion, are you using lo gain settings?
  8. I went ahead and tried it out since I already have an iLok and a Line6 user account from my (old / long gone) POD XT. Not that impressed at all. I've been away from Line6 stuff for a few years now. IMHO Amplitube and now even Logic's Amp Designer blow it away. It always seems that the Line6 stuff sounds ok when soloed, but in the mix it just doesn't cut through. Sounds like I'm farting into a bucket...
  9. Thank you for the replies. That's exactly what we needed to know.
  10. I get the exact same thing every time I load Omnisphere - and I'm talkin with only 2-3 instances. Never happened in LP8.
  11. Hey all, My cousin and I were handed a session that was originally done 44k / 16bit. We're getting ready to hand everything off to a mix engineer who would like everything 48k / 24. Is this something we should even bother with since everything was given to us 44 / 16? If I bounce all of the tracks at 48 / 24, will this work or should I just bounce everything the same as the original session. When you up convert from 16 to 24, are you just adding empty bits?? Thanks!!
  12. Just wanted to give many thanks to Edgar and everyone else who contributed to this thread. I just did 2 minor GUI changes and couldn't be happier. Thanks everyone!
  13. Not sure if this has been mentioned or not but we now have a place for notes at the bottom of the tracks (ie., Pro Tools). If you control + click on the track name, there's now an option for "Notes." This is something I really missed coming from PT. Very happy to have this. Crap - sorry y'all. Just saw this listed in the new feature thread already. Skipped right over it.
  14. Everything went smooth here. Ran the Combo Update. Logic, Waves, Stylus, Omnisphere, etc., all running great.
  15. Yeah, I can't wait for this one. Sucks that the release date got pushed back to the end of June, but knowing Spectrasonics it'll be worth the wait.
