wow, that instantly fixed it. Is that just a lack of Ram issue? I have a Macbook Pro with a SSD and 8 gigs of ram. Not running a lot of plug-ins right now. (or a ton of tracks). thanks!! Kent

I run into this every once in a while and it seems to fix itself after some time. but here it is again. Midi delay - really bad. I made a video of my issue if you would be so kind to watch: NO delay at all while running the drum program as a stand alone. Just while in Logic. My buffer is 256 right now. thanks!! Kent

I'm running LogicProX but want to load in -off my discs- a copy of MainStage 2 from LogicStudio 9 set box. All I am getting is "Serial number is incorrect". Won't do anything past this. I've entered it several times off my booklet. I'm stumped. So are they forcing me to buy MS3? - which I would if everyone on the App store wasn't saying it's crashing constantly. I feel trapped. My typical day.

Hoping for a little guidance. I'm trying to retune a full song audio file. But it needs to be down a 4th!!!! What should I do exactly using the pitch shift setting? When i preview it, it sounds okay, but when I have it process the whole thing, it sounds terrible. Now, it gets weird. You can't undo this I believe. So I'll delete it, not save it, restart the program, drop the same original file in to try again, but the old settings are locked on it still. Restarted my computer, SAME detuned terrible sound. WTH is going on???? I'm dragging it right out of itunes and it's just crazy. so frustrating. .

I was thinking that too, but why? It opens recent files perfectly. How can I stop it from crashing the old files?

Hi, working on a tune for a while and everything was great, then tried recording a new track using my outboard midi gear (which I had done on this tune previously). Well now there is a VERY bad lag happening. Thought it was my controller, or Audio Kontrol 1, but I opened a new project, selected the same stuff....and it's gone!!! Great news!! But how do I kill it in the old project?? Would it be easier to copy everything over to a new one?? I have no idea why, I haven't done anything out of the ordinary of what do. just a bit baffling to me. thanks for any push.

in a related question, I'm having an issue where I can preview the sample in the "loops bin" at the correct tempo (however altered form the original --which is fine!) and using the "play in original Key" tab. Love it, drag it over to my track and it automatically changes it to a much lower key of the song. Making it nearly unusable. Pitch machine is greyed out on the sample editor. So I figure it's already done all the work in the preview for me, just let me use it!!!! It won't let me "mess up" my own song!!! help? Logic 9.1.7

Every single time I try to do a full bounce, export to itunes this thing is crashing. I have a Brand new iMac 21.5" iMac with the i3 chip at 3.2 ghz.on 10.6.4 OS 8 gigs of ram and a 2 TB HD. Running 9.1.2 Logic Pro. As soon as I hit the bounce button, I get the flash of death and it crashes. Anyone else??

Perfect, works like a charm. Strange that you'd have to essentially do it a 2nd time after saving it from the initial export, but works non the less again! Thanks for everything!

wow, you're creeping up on 10k posts! I'm creeeping up on 10!! HA! thanks for the help. Saving IN the EXS24 under "save settnig". "WHERE", folder named EXS24. which is Library->App support->Logic->plug-in settings->ESX24

I save them but in the other project it will not show it in the list (even after restarting) and when I manually "load" it in, it shows it, but says it's "missing".
