Had the brite idea of installing Snow Leopard (10.6.3) this morning ... now I can't open Logic Pro 7.... are they not compatible or is it possible to go back to my old operating system

ok I restarted logic and the record button came back ..thank goodness .. still it sounds like some slight delay is happening as if the monitoring is patched incorrectly

Can't figure out how to get record button back on newly created audio track .. therefore I can't enable track for recording audio .. the button was there earlier today but somehow I lost it and can't get it back .. been stuck for hours and would really appreciate any clues ... in the view menu the record button is checked thanks

Thanks all for the info I really appreciate it. I have never experienced a crash. A few times my functions have frozen up but I was able to do a forced quit and after re-booting no data was lost except the last few edits. The thought of losing all my work in Logic is a single episode is frightening to say the least. Again thanks I will get a back-up drive today and stop BS ing before it's too late.

If my MacBook Pro were to crash today I would probably go into a deep depression since I have yet to back it up to an external hard drive. I did save my latest project to a flash drive but my new years resolution is to stop procrastinating on this issue. A few questions. 1. Any suggestions on what drive to get and what it would cost? 2. I have never used the time machine feature I see in the dock but I gather from browsing that this is where I start in the back-up process? 3. Don't want to screw anything up so I would appreciate any suggestions. Thanks

Santa Claus is bringing Logic 9 down the chimney for me tonight. First thing I have to do however is change to Snow Leopard. Was wondering will I be able to keep Logic 7 on my MacBook Pro and will it still work with Snow Leopard? thanks ... and Merry Christmas
