Hi- been noticing oddness with audio regions. They are playing back ok and appear as files when I double click but in the arrange page are only showing as blank regions, any ideas people ? thanks ABN

Thanks Triplets Ive loaded the songs in question successfully using star without audio option. Ive then saved the songs under a new name and tried to load again. Exactly the same problem. They crash at the same point on exactly the same plug in each time. I tried using the AU safe option and the AUtolad option …. and same problem. I have a dialogue with Waves and Apogee ….APogee drew a blank other than trashing prefs. Im awaiting Waves response. Ironic thing is its happened on the best 2 tracks of the music project Im working on ! ….same problem loading each of the 3 back ups I had saved on diff media ! Thanks for your help. much appreciated Matt

Im getting a unexpected crash message - "whilst using generic mac Intel.dylib plug in " The crashes occur half way through song load and always whislt loading a logic plug in . The crash report ( which I don't understand ) implies waves codex problems. Can anyone shed any light.? Logic 9.1.8 OSX 10.7.5 •Macbook pro 2.2 15 inch 2011 - 4gb ddr3 •Apogee Quartet s/card Hi ALl, Im getting no joy importing AAF files. Ive changed the file import type on impairing and nothing appears other than a message saying the Logic doesn't recognise the file format . Can anyone advise ? many thanks Matt Coldrick

I've recently given my laptop macbook pro a spring clean by re-installing leopoard and then Logic 8. Logic 7 was also re-installed but after logic 8. Now Logic 8 works but Logic 7 will not recognise any plug ins or vst's. They appear with a line though them. Is this simply a case of re-installing Logic 7 and 8 ( sequentially) ? or is there a quick way to get Logic 7 to read the plug ins ? cheers m
