  1. Thanks! Will do! Restart didn't fix it. Evidently 10.4.6 didn't help either. hmmmm...
  2. Missing half the mixer in window. Cannot view first few channels. Thanks for any suggestions! Peace, Kevin
  3. That made me realize I calculated wrong - I had been looking at the iMac upgradability by accident when considering ram for the mini. Dang it. Now, with the Mini i7 6 core/32gb of ram *from apple*/256gb ssd + monitor/keyboard/mouse, I'm at $2300. Alternative: 27" iMac i5 6 core/32gb of ram *3rd party*/256gb ssd is also $2300. However, benchmark scoring still favors the Mini. But you get the fancy Retina 5k screen with the iMac! and a keyboard and a mouse and a pretty nice graphics card. I like to do videos too.
  4. You can get 32 gigs of ram from OWC for 185 bucks: https://eshop.macsales.com/shop/memory/owc/apple-mac-mini/2018 And they show you how to install the ram as well. Installing it looks to be a real pain in the ass. lol
  5. Still using the old 5,1 Mac Pro. Best computer Apple ever made. I've got a 2008 Mac Pro 8 core that i love but can't run the Apollos or current OS for Logic.
  6. The iMac beats the Mini of course: https://everymac.com/ultimate-mac-comparison-chart/?compare=all-intel-macs&highlight=0&prod1=MacMiniIntel030&prod2=iMacIntel083&prod3=MacBookPro120 But the Mini is perfect if you have a monitor already. And you save thousand bucks. Are you using the Mini for tracking at your place? Need to have something I won't outgrow too quickly. I'd be only getting 8 ram to start because the 27" is easy to upgrade and I can get the ram much cheaper elsewhere. You're getting some nice sounds by the way! Thanks!
  7. Nice thread! Been going back and forth on a Mini 6 core i7, 16gb ram and 512SSD and a iMac 8 core i9 8gb ram and 512SSD. Mainly over the $1000 dollar difference. I have a monitor, keyboard and mouse. Thoughts?
  8. Triplets, Do you think 2 TB3 ports is enough? I'm considering the iMac 27 with a 6 core i7. But I'm gonna wait and see if they preview the Mac Pro at the WWDC. Your opinion much appreciated!
  9. I'm looking at the new iMac standard. Up to 8 cores for almost $2000 less.
  10. So I wasn't crazy even tho this drove me that way. lol Was this addressed in the current update?
  11. https://appleinsider.com/articles/18/10/30/mac-mini-finally-receives-long-awaited-refresh-with-5x-performance Making it not so easy to wait for the Mac Pro.
  12. Plug ins on the soft instrument track or just all plug ins on any track?
  13. I'm having a bad delay that is also fixed by low latency mode. Checked midi channel on track. Matches channel sent by keyboard. Just started happening one day.
