Turns out, if I have anything else plugged into the 2nd firewire port on the back of the mac, the driver is not recognised. Even if the cable is not plugged into anything! I CAN plug into the front two ports however

Anyone using the new nehalem macs and a fireface 800. I'm having connectivity problems. I've installed the latest drivers. I performed a clean install with the OS and the fireface driver as the only data loaded. The fireface loads up properly on my g5, so I know the cable and fireface are working properly. I am also able to plug in a fw800 drive to the new mac so I know that the ports are OK.

What a horribly ignorant unproductive comment. Nexus is an easy rompler that is fairly instantly gratifying. Yet still has enough "tweeks" to make it your own.

I talked to Spectrasonics at NAMM and they stated "there will be NO updates to Atmosphere or Trilogy." Omnisphere will include most or all of the Atmosphere patches and a new plug will follow that includes the trilogy patches.....sometime in 2009. Atmosphere and Trilogy as we know it now, are dead.

Sorry, been sick for a coupla days. Thanks el-bo for the reply. It's funny, I have the same advice for my wife when I'm teaching her to play drums. Just relax!..Think of the rhythms...She still plays like an injured moose! I would still like to know what chord this is. Before I contort my body to try this again, I want to know if I'm playing the right notes. Thanks again for the replys.

Fair enough. Could somebody tell me what notes I played? Are they even real chords?
