I can't see why, if I play the keyboard on the auto sampler, it plays the Fab Four but no input level on the sampler.

Hi all, I am trying to sample from East West Fab Four stand alone plug in. My problem is the auto sampler keys play the sounds from the stand alone plug in, it even goes through the sampling process but there is no input level on the sampler input level meter. I end up with a sampled instrument when I load the main sampler but silence when I play the keys! I think I'm probably missing a simple solution to this but I've search the web to no avail... Mine works perfectly too, it’s only when I use smart tempo that I’ve had this problem. I wondered if I’m missing some technical thing related to smart tempo that’s confusing the VS2580.

I can sync my 2480 with logic no problem but when I use smart tempo the audio speeds up or slows down (goes out of tune) during the performance. It’s like the sample rate is changing. Is it possible to sync the two without this happening?

Hi, when i'm editing, say in the arrange page, my mouse pointer seems unstable. I've watched tutorial videos and the pointers in them seem stable. I'm wondering is this a Logic X thing or my Mac. I'm using the track pad but it's the same with a USB mouse. Cheers

I think I've solved this, if i click the track header all the over lapped notes are displayed in the piano roll.

Hello, when I record a two bar, say midi drum track, lopping it, the subsequent over laped recordings create a new layered/over laped midi track. How do I see or separate the individual tracks. Hope that makes sense. croaky

From what I can see on this forum, all the problems have been solved by either reading the manual or opening eyes. Does my head in!
