  1. I agree with fisherking here - I have a *ton* of plugins on both Macs and the only one that seems to be giving me trouble is IK's Amplitube. My MBP here has been updated through multiple system versions (and Betas to boot), and I'm quite impressed with how plugin coding is holding up (and some were updated *years* ago). Maybe check your Plugin Dev's for updates as the last MacOS update has been installing plugins with no need to restart LPX (just did TRacks 5 a few days ago and it was instantly available) GB just got a big update on iOS yesterday, so I'm betting both GB and LPX for Mac is in the pipeline soon - this may clean things up as well.
  2. Update - yep, it's Amplitube. D/L'd the most recent version - installed, still wants to authorize 22 plugins. Used their Uninstaller and relaunched Logic - no authorization. Reinstalled and it's back. Love the Ampeg emulation, so have to live with it until they issue a fix.
  3. i run all the betas, so i don't think it's that. more likely, it's specific plugins. does this happen on both macs with the same plugins? all plugins? Just installed 10.13.1 - no change. Digging around in the Plugin Manager (on my MBP - Mini is at home) - there are 2 versions of Amplitube 4 (both version 4.0.0) Will check to see if there's an update at IK, and will see if the Mini does the same thing later.
  4. It's happening on both my MBP and Mini. Might be a remnant of the Beta tests. Probably need to upgrade the bourbon in both, yes.
  5. Having to do this too, and also have 22 plugins that want to validate *every* time I launch Logic... Annoying.
  6. Just tried to connect to our reliable old AMT-8 since updating to High Sierra - neither Logic nor AMS sees the AMT anymore. Tried installing the latest Unitor Driver (2.5 I believe) from The Mothership's site and Dialog Box said I don't need the install. Anyone else getting an AMT working on 10.13?
  7. I am loving the update - but this is just awful: That decimal point (especially in overloads) is *non-existant* Anyone found a workaround?
  8. Not all Certified Pros choose to have their credentials published, which is probably why it looks like there are so few. As far as LP8 and 9 Certifications disappearing, it is odd that it's not even searchable even by name and/or state. My assumption would be that most people would be searching for the latest versions for Credentials. Just my $0.02...
  9. Does the Launchkey show up in Audio Midi Setup? Do the Launchkey keys/pads transmit MIDI to Logic? Did you select the HUI Icon on the right side of the Control Surface Setup? In Control Surface Setup, make sure the Launchkey is set to 'Launchkey InControl" for both Input and Output Ports at the top.
  10. I have two blue ones, so I could probably live without one.
  11. Looks like the Anchors in the Audio File Editor are still not working but they *do* work in the Browser... Anyone else confirm this? Tried two machines on 10.0.5 and look alike it's still broken.
  12. I found the answer after a bit of searching and found this thread: viewtopic.php?f=1&t=86264&p=453559&hilit=pointer+doesn%27t+change#p451810 Setting Logic to 'All Desktops' fixed it.
  13. Hi All, I hit on this briefly in the Logic 9.1.8 Update Thread, and a few said it should be a separate topic. Simply, neither of my Macs will show the Loop Length or Region Resize icon when I move the cursor to the top or bottom edge of a Region. The function still works, but is a bit tricky since I don't see the icons and sometimes wind up moving the Region instead of performing either function. I'm curious if anyone else has had this issue and found a solution. This has been happening since the 9.1.7 update came out. Not sure if the jump from 10.6 to 10.7 was also the culprit. Here's the kicker - I have this issue on BOTH my Macs, a 2.4 quad i7 MBP (updated from 10.6 to 10.8, and a 2.8 8-core Mac Pro that has a clean install of 10.8 and Apps on a new drive when Mountain Lion came out). I have done the usual Mac maintenance (Repair Permissions, trashed Prefs), and have done a Logic Reset (Initialize All except Key Commands). Changing Tools doesn't help, Full Screen Mode changes nothing, as does using a built-in Template over my own... Any clues? I'm about out of ideas here!
