  1. Same here - last time it took a couple of weeks for Australian users to get access to the LPX 10.4.4 upgrade - maybe this is the 'new norm'? rz Whoops, I spoke too soon - downloaded the LPX 10.4.5 update now. rz
  2. OS 10.14.4 and FW Ensemble/Maestro works OK here. Maybe it's something else? rz
  3. It all works here with Kontakt 5.8.1 and LPX 10.4.4, with Mohave and a much more modest amount of RAM. rz

    Tap for Tempo

For 'Tap Tempo' I just record in Adapt Mode and 'tap' on my guitar/keys/voice to set the tempo and bar start. Works most of the time. I then smooth the tempo curves if I want a constant tempo to follow. rz
  5. Who knows what the real problem was - besides Apple? Might have just been overloaded servers in the USA, as someone originally suggested. Anyhow, it's working now, thankfully. Our ancient marsupials and monotremes can get on with making stone-age music. PS - and the USA is not currently "a strange part of the world"? rz
  6. To fellow Australian LPX users - LPX version 10.4.4 installed OK just now, as normal . Rz

  9. Still not downloading here - in Canberra, Oz. Signed out/in of App Store and restarted. Thanks rz
  10. It seems that there's a problem with the server that Apple uses for Logic Pro 10.4.4 upgrade/download for Australian users. Some people are having success with VPN through Singapore or the USA. I guess others will have to wait until Apple fixes this. rz
  11. Thanks, Nope, nothing has been moved etc. It seems others are having the same problem viewtopic.php?f=1&t=140580&start=20#p724701- it's not just me. rz
  12. Be hearted (or depressed) your not alone I'm having exactly the same problem, as are others viewtopic.php?f=1&t=140580&start=20#p724701. Apple has done something 'special' to the LPX 10.4.4 update. rz
  13. Thanks for that info - but I still can't update LPX to 10.4.4 from the App Store, the download gets most of the way through and then stops and then displays again the 'Update' message for Logic Pro X. I reverted to a copy of LPX 10.4.2 (from .3) with out any difference. I've tried deleting AppStore Preferences (&LPX) and Caches, and installing Mohave, without result. I've added nothing to the Contents>MIDI Device Plugins. If I delete LPX and attempt to download it stops at the same place. I conclude its the update that's different. A strange one. rz
  14. The initial download is 58 MB, then the installer goes to 'calculating' and starts to download 861 MB - it gets to 860 MB and then crashes out with the above message. It does the same (the calculating bit) when I'm attempting to install LPX, after deleting it from my App folder. I deleted other Apps (iMovie, Keynote) and they install fine. It's a problem specific to this update it seems. I've tried lots of other stuff-deleting AppStore prefs and Caches - to no avail. Thanks rz
  15. Weirdly enough the App Store also wouldn't allow me to reinstall LPX after I deleted it, either. Copied LPX 10.4.3 back over from a Time Machine backup, so I'm still running. A mystery, maybe I need to go to Mohave? Thanks rz
