Hey Dave great stuff, thanks so much for the help !! My issue is that when I group only the kick and snare tracks (to facilitate too much transient sensitivity with all the other tracks) and I marquee select all of my drum tracks, I still get Logic reading the transients for all of the tracks??? I've tried different combinations in group settings with region edit box checked and unchecked. Still I get either all transients being sensed or when I go to cut, only the kick and snare tracks get cut?? Am I missing something here?????? Thanks for any and all help you render!!!!!!!

Achhhh hhhaaahhhhhhh!

Hey guys recently I've been using the Groove Machine in L8 to "fix" live performance tracks. It "fixes" the tracks but clips samples and is very noisy and creates "glitches" along the resolution divisions.?????? I've tried adjusting the levels of downbeat vs offbeat, but still noisy.????? Anyone else experiencing this "bug"???? In L7 the process worked cleanly.....

So I'm screwed until I get my MOTU back???????

But there is a digital "lightpipe" input.......?????????

I'm having problems with my Motu2408 card and it'll be going back to the factory. But in the mean time can anyone tell me if I'm able to use the lightpipe out from my AlesisAdatXT20 as an input into my computer via the digital input in the back of my G5?????? I really can't afford to be down for too long.......

But then won't I be hearing that track on either side as I monitor?????

I'm using a Motu2408 8 i/o card. Why is it that I can't apply a single mono out track to a single output without the out being one of a stereo pair???? Which I'd have to pan left or right. Shouldn't there be a single assignable mono out for each mono track???????

All of my drives are 7200rpm...... Could it be a glitch in the program????? or the OS????? I'm currently copying my system disk to the second blank 7200rpm disk and will reformat the system disk, bounce the system back and try again..... ???????? Hopefully this will help???!!!! I'll let y'all know.......

My problem as well..... I'm using both my internal 300GB drive with only 100G used as well as writing to an external firewire 250GB drive and even with 4 tracks of audio playing and minimal effects, with my cpu meters measuring the bare minimum, and I get Core overload, drive too slow -10010. ?????????????????? Please help. I'm using Logic 7.1.1 with a G5Quad 2.5ghz with 8G of ram???? It all seemed to start when I imported 44 tracks of wave audio from a friend's protool's session.....????????? Help????
