Hi, I use mainstage and live 8 with fcb 1010 (need Ifcb soft) mainstage pilot live, just the windows off mainstage. Live is midi player ,looper and clip audio free record. Hi, This is an extract of song. It's a band with 3 musicien. http://idisk.mac.com/jeanmarcsimon//Public/Le Pont extrait-AAC 128Kbps.m4a _ guitare -Percussion, guemeri (like bass from maroc), flute, tabla… _voice, double bass, sanza, carcabou… I use Mainstage for all the instruments, and out from mainsatge on 2 enceinte amplified for concert in pub, or 8 out for concert hall I use, on this example, 3 Loopbak; One for the guitar, the second for the guemeri, the third for the different percussions. On this mp3, when we start the song, there is nothing in the 3 loopback and no playback. I record the Loop of guitar, guemerie… in live. I have just a MacBook Pro, a FCB 1010, and a sound card Focusrite Pro 40. For the guitar, I use a Fender strat de Luxe, a VOX Tonelab SE and a reverb Intelliverb. With Mainstage you can do everything, first verse, second verse… stop or play LoopBack and PlayBack as you want. If you want to use different LoopBack for different verse,I recommend to use different patch. It's very easy and very reliably. excuse my english... J.Marc

The function " go to marker" is ok with Mainstage 2.1.1 J.marc

On playback and mainstage, there is a function group, in bottom on the right. When 2 playback are on group 1 they react together to the various commands, stop, play... There is the same on loopback. since version 2, that functions on loopback. I have a question; tested with loopback with sync " off " and the function " set concert tempo after first take " after the rec, when loopback is playing, there is a "crak " and the loop is ok but don't start immediately. this problem takes place when mainstage is running. I would like to have your opinion it above thank you, J.Marc

With flex, playback follow the tempo. thus not of problem. J.Marc

I have the same problems, The function " go to marker ' in the folder "marker " don't play. Sometime, the " go to marker " is in the folder transport ( next marker, previous...) and it's OK. When the " go to marker " is in the folder" transport", there is no folder "marker". I don't now why ???!!! J.Marc
