Hey, So I'm opening up an old song file from Logic in Logic X and the Freeze files aren't attached. I need them as I don't have the old instruments used for the song. How do I reattached them? Thanks. Sherwood

Yes on USB and yes, that's the order I did it. First the Eclipse Control Panel, then the Audio Midi Setup, then open Logic 96kHz project. Anything else I'm missing? I am actually able to plug my guitar into the second channel of AN1 in and see it on the Eclipse Control Panel meters, but nothing in Logic. Is it that the USB can't handle the throughput data of 96kHz.? I'm gonna hook up my MOTU Hybrid tomorrow and do the same test.

Anyone out there going through the same problems as I am with my Antelope Eclipse. ($7k I/O). I bought it cuz it's supposed to be the highest quality DAC's and Word Clock in the biz, Works find in 44.1kHz and 48kHz. Nothing shows up in Logic in 96kHz. Logic Pref's Project Pref's I recorded a pro tools project at a tracking room in Hollywood. The engineer exported the audio files @ 96kHz so I can load into Logic and do vocals at my studio. Can't get anything to play in Logic after importing the audio files. I checked the audio files get info and they all say 96kHz. Can't even get the playhead to move in Logic in the 96kHz project. Also imported one of the 96kHz files into Soundtrack Pro. Same thing....nothing. In Logic I can see the waveforms on the audio files. Is there something I'm missing?????? I so hate being dead in the water.

YEah, I have a killer Focusrite mic pre and I'm getting great level in Record. I decided to use an Aux send/Bus and assign the Bus to dif outs and feed it to headphone amp. Duh! Thanks for your thoughts.

I can't get the vocal level loud enough when recording and have to bring the instruments down. Not using a mixer all virtual. Is there a small mixer that you recommend to send the instrument track and vocal into the headphone amp so I can have more control over the mix? Or is there a combo control surface/mixer out there that's good quality I should consider? Would like to make my purchase before New Years Eve if anyone has any ideas about which unit to get.... Really? Never used Garritan Strings, Killer Horns, or others in EXS format? IN the older Non Lion version I would have to keep the Sampler Instruments in one folder and an Alias of the EXS audio files in another folder.....So both the Sample Instruments and the Audio files go in the same folder?

Also, let's say I have the compressor plugin visible for the track I'm working on. When I select another audio track, it leaves the old compressor and it's setting still visible. Is there a way to have the compressor for the audio track I'm working on be actively visible when I switch between tracks??

When I comping multiple vocal tracks, I'd like to be able to have the the audio track I'm review pump up louder so I further scrutinize what I'm editing. I've been throwing in a compressor w more gain. If I have to go through 10 vocal tracks, it's a lot of adjusting settings in each compressor for each track. Is there an easier way to do this? Thnx.

I'm running 9.1.6 w Lion on a brand new 8 core Mac Pro, Going through the lovely process of reinstalling, authorizing all my audio plugs, etc. Where do the third party Sample Instruments go & where do the audio files go so EXS will see the factory instruments and the others? Thns for your help.

weird prompt I tried opening from the app after getting the same message trying to open from the project file. I trashed prefs and get the same prompt with a spinning beach ball that spins endlessly. Workaround? Unfortunately, Logic is set to auto open the last project. Rats! Thnx.

Is the monster robot sounding falling growl that Skrillex creates achievable in the ES2? Does anyone have a tip on how to create this or even a template of the settings for one of the Logic synths? Thnx.
