picking up on what fuzzfilth said, there is also a midifx script in the scripter preset menu called " Send delayed notes" that will allow you to set the note length, just set the delay time to zero. LG

About 2 months ago I updated from mavericks to yose after staying with mavs because I had a super stable system but the new 10.2 ish updates gave me some weird issues... so i made the leap. I switched to yose and not El Cap because i have hardware that isnt supported on ElCap and a Pro Tools version that isnt either. Yose has been no problem what so ever so far... and having the most recent version of logic has been worth it. I made sure to do TM backup before i made the switch but now im through the tething phase its been overwritten. I have an older 4,1 with a Ati 4870 and its been fine. Leyton

as per my post viewtopic.php?f=1&t=122279 i have the same problem but assumed its because i was on 10 .9 obviously its more widespread. i upgraded to 10.9.5 and it was still there trashed my preferences and it went away... but logic was unusable with menus not working and the inability to Quit.. so i went back to 10.2.0 i posted feedback to apple and a representative got in contact with me a few days later.to ask for a suspect project. Hopefully they will do the same for you. Leyton

well solved that problem ... ... now menus wont work and i cant Quit. gah!

trashing the preferences solved the problem L

update: so i upgraded to 10.9.5 and the same issue occurs. stumped. some weird peculiarity of my system? back to LPX 10.2.0

hi, I know im a few OS's behind but thought i should report this for any one else on Mavericks to comment on. I upgraded to 10.2.1 but its made weird timing issues to my midi recording. Once ive done a recording pass it moves every note by roughly a 1/16 forward in time.( yes its not a lag it moves notes forward). this happens with "capture as recording " as well It only happens on old sessions ( i checked 3), a new session is fine. I double checked it by rolling back to 10.2.0 and the recording timing was totally fine --- back to 10.2.1 and it moves everything forward . This was with the same song. weirdness.

update: so looking through my logs I found a Xtrafinder updatee... i quit Xtrafinder and restarted it and... ta Dah! quicklook is back. -For those that dont know Xtrafinder is a third party finder utility that allows you to do additional things with the finder, or in my instance restore some of the things that apple threw away in previous updates eg colour labels that colour the text and not just small dots So if you have a 3rd party finder app ( of which there are many) perhaps...???

hi, its broken for me now, but the weird thing was it wasnt a couple of weeks ago- and i havent done an OSX update or Logic update since then. Ill have a look through my logs for any clues. Is it working for those on LPX 10.1.1? L

hi David yes. nope... well i did ages ago when i was playing around with skins but i went back to the default package... ANYHOO.... i just tried again to update --but this time-- i went through my purchases tab in the app store which took me to the logic app page and i installed from there and BINGO!!.. all good.. mark this one SOLVED.. thanks David

hi, App store downloads 10.1.1 but doesnt update the logic app ( 10.0.6) Ive told spotlight to ignore where ive got a backup of my logic apps..but that didnt work any thoughts? thanks L
