  1. Hey guys. I'll try to make this as clear as possible. I've updated the firewire 410 driver to 1.9.3, I am receiving audio in which is visibly received on my audio track through proper input selection in Logic. but, not audio out of Logic with the 410 selected as the interface via preferences. Garageband has no issue with this. The last thing I have not considered is that if I am running Logic w/o rosetta turned on, am I using the wrong driver for the 410? I have tried setting it up as an aggregate to see my output as the built-in driver, unsuccessful. My sys. prefs show proper interface selection as well. I am running mobile so this is not a monitor output setup, just for headphones out of the 410. This is not problematic for the Firewire solo, however. It works perfect. But I need to multi track with the 410. Suggestions? Hardware: MBPro 2.2 2GB RAM Logic 8.0.2 Firewire 410 1.9.3 driver OSX 10.6.4
  2. No problem. It's a super fun effect. It's buggier on the logic sir when trying to record with it. But great in mainstage.
  3. Yes. I love this btw. Add in your EVOC PS instrument as well as your Audio Channel with proper input. Open your EVOC inst. panel and click "side chain" and choose your designated input from your Audio channel. As far as the presets go on the EVOC I like the [02 Vintage Vocoder>Clear Voice Vocoder] preset as a starting point, but do what you like. Mute your Audio instrument. Sing in Mic and hold down what you want on your MIDI and you should be set. If you want that "Hide and Seek" - Imogen Heap type of effect your gonna have to play a little more with it. For example, Don't mute your Audio track, but balance it so it doesn't overbear the Vocoder. When you start harmonizing your voice with the chords you hold down on your MIDI you'll start to pull some gnarly layers. I'll usually AUX some pan delay on the Audio channel to wet it down. javascript:emoticon('') Also, if you trigger the your MUTE on the audio channel to a controller on your MIDI you can pull on/off your real-voice when you only want the vocoder effect.
