  1. If you are still using 9.1.8 Id stick with 10.6.8 as that combo is still the most stable and efficient in my opinion and experience. However, I can understand why you might wish to upgrade. Personally, Id keep a separate partition for 10.6.8 and LP and then create a new partition for any such OS and LP upgrades and switch between the two as and if needed.
  2. For what it is worth.. LP 9.1.8 will not run/launch under MacOS 10.13.x (High Sierra)
  3. Also there are multiple reports that Melodyne 4 (latest version) crashes LPX 10.2.1 with alarming regularity... especially on startup... No fix for this yet other than to not use / uninstall M4 or roll back to 10.2...
  4. Did either of you use the rename function in the Plugin Manager? if so, try making sure any names you created/used are less than 11 Chars.... and see if that fixes things.
  5. Confirmed bug? LPX 10.2.1 / OS X 10.11.x (and maybe 10.10.x too but cannot confirm that yet) If the OS X System language is set to Spanish then Midi transform crashes... Workaround. Set System language to English or English (US) when working in Logic and Midi transform works perfectly https://discussions.apple.com/thread/7434234
  6. No.. Sorry... I mis-read your original post and thought you asked bout Yosemite but... I don't have a testbed system set up to test that older configuration unfortunately.... I have read some anecdotal evidence that it is working ok for others however,.... but i am not setup here to confirm that... Cheers...
  7. Ah.. there is the little blighter.... Thanks for the head's up... Nigel
  8. 10.2.1 works fine here under 10.10.5....... but then I haven't had any issues of note that don't affect any OS X + LPX 10.2.1 setup... on my testbed 10.11.3 nor .4b systems either....
  9. The only way i can tell if a download is occurring (apart from using an external monitor like Little Snitch) is that you cannot open the Download manager until the download has finished......... It remains a grey'd out option until the download is complete!
  10. I've noticed a difference in this 'flanging' issue depending on the sample rate of the project... 44.1k is ok.. At 48k however, it seems more pronounced to my hearing at least...
  11. I can't find any report of this here so... There seems to be a bug when you rename a plugin and use more than 11 Chars..... Causes Logic to crash when closing project... and/or can cause certain keyboard shortcuts to cause Logic to crash when using then in a way that affects a track with renamed plugins in it. I can repeat the bug here, most of the time.. On odd occasions it happens using more than 10 chars... but mainly its after using 12 or more chars in the renamed plugin. Can anyone else confirm please..? The workaround fix is to rename plugins using 10 or less chars or as a quick fix, just reset/delete Logic's Prefs... though quite why that fixes it.. seems odd to me.. Anecdotal reports and more info on this can be found at here and here
  12. You can reset the Ozonic back to the factory defaults on power-up by holding down the OCTAVE UP/DOWN buttons.
  13. As an aside... Running Ultralite Mk3s under 10.10.5 here without issue... (Hybrid version via FW and the original Mk3 under FW too) using the latest V1.6.64254 Audio Device Drivers...
  14. Just rename the Logic Pro X app and then download again from the App Store....
  15. FWIW, a small humber of users have reported that it was because of an alias they created prior to installing 10.2, to relocate some of Logic's content to an external drive, that is responsible for such crashes where Alchemy seems to be the culprit. Replacing the alias with a Symlink has apparently resolved the issue... I cannot confirm this myself as i don't have this issue.... Here is one example thread from ACLP https://discussions.apple.com/thread/7192201
