  1. I have a hard time understanding anything of Axioms awkward setup...and how to get logic or mainstage to remember the assigned controllers? Damn ...why isn´t this simpler in 2009!
  2. Thanks for the tips guys! The filtering is off course off Ski...a bit disappointing though that aftertouch is largely ignored in the logic instruments. And Organsymphony; that was a great tip that certainly showed tha Axiom was sending aftertouch messages! Thanks
  3. In Mainstage U just click where the name of the strip is shown; just below the "volume-wheel". Another option is just to highlight the strip and use the copy function, and then paste it somewhere else. And remember...no right-click...

  5. Ok. I´m new to Axiom and a pretty basic Logic user...so I´m quite "midi-retarded" But I need to know this! I bought Axiom 61 because of its aftertouch function, and earlier when I´ve played things in Logic with Novation controllers aftertouch has been a trusted companion. But with my new setup I have absolutely no aftertouch whatsoever on any instrument! What to do? Is there a global setup for this in Logic, cause from what I´ve read I will not have to setup Axiom for this? Any idea guys? How to get some aftertouch action in Logic 9?
  6. Now I know! (eagerly) U have to press the "Settings" button just above the EQ Curve -window. Then a new pop-up window opens with your desired parameters.
  7. Ah! Thanks alot!...I tried there, but I just right-clicked...silly me. Sorry for being a bad boy and not reading the manual 8) ...but where did those nice paperbacks go anyway?...not so eager to read on screen...but I´ll save U the trouble next time. Thanks for saving my day
  8. Thanks ..this seems very easy...but I can´t seem to find that "save function" U speak of...hehe...so how would U explain this save-procedure for a logic-challenged guy like me?
  9. Maybe a stupid question ,but hey.... I have been copying channel strips internally in Mainstage and thought/hoped the copying of my favourite channels in logic would be the same easy; copy and paste. But this was not so appearantly Why is this not that easy? What am I missing? And is proper procedure working both ways, also from mainstage into logic?
  10. Thanks for the reply midiman But I also thought of that and copied that patch into an empty concert...only to find the same trouble also ther...with only one omnisphere pad and voice...I really thought with my new mac this was gonna be better than ever...but it feels like I´ve downgraded even!
  11. Damn...that´s sad... I really thought I could do more with this setup!
  12. I find this funny. With a new Macbook pro 2,53ghz I thought I could play a track on my Omnisphere Plugin and sing at the same time without any trouble..even with buffeer size at 128. But the processor goes often into red and the sound on the omnisphere cuts and starts again. Very undesireable! I thought this would be no problem since I think I have used smaller mac´s with mainstage 1 with more heavy setups than this. So I wonder if maybe the controller ; Axiom 61 somehow interferes and makes some kind of "midi chaos" since I feel somehow it is triggered when using the sustain pedal. Is it possible that the Axiom can strain the processor at all? Remember I am a "midi-retard"...but eager to learn this setup! Any tips will be greatly appreciated
