  1. Glad to see I'm not the only one wandering about this! Yeah I know, it's such a tiny difference, that it doesn't affect my work at all. And I use that maker track only for reference for the song structure. But I was posting in case I was doing something wrong or whatever. I will try creating an alternate marker and test to see if the problem occurs on other ones.
  2. So I set up markers for the project. I locked them and after saving the project, a few moved and changed length. (i.e "Couplet 2" is now "16 0 0 1" instead of "16 0 0 0" for the length). So I unlocked them, reset them in the right positions and lengths, thinking I had made a extra click or something the 1st time. I locked them, they are fine, and then as soon as I save the project again, some move! Here's a screenshot of what it looks like after the save! (This is the second time it happens to me, both different projects created from scracth (no template)). Has anyone had this before?
  3. @EricBradley It's working in the old project as well now...! But I don't use Maestro for Logic, only for FireFox, Itunes, etc. I use the Build in Apogee Control Panel in LP. Options>Audio>Open Apogee Control Panel.
  4. ...It's working. I rebooted after the last tests, trashed preferences, transfered all the tracks into a new project and it's working! Am I just unlucky or was it bugged or? Thanks for all the help guys! Very much appreciated!
  5. @EricBradley Got the EQ out of the loop, and when I turn the I/O plugin, I can barely hear. @fader8 I tested in a new empty project with the TestOsc, and tried with EQ in and out of the loop. Still no positive result. I used output 5 and Input 6. @shivermetimbers I Reread the PDF manual and nothing is said about a switch or pot that becomes a volume control. There's a calibration possible if a meter or something else has been replaced, but I bought everything new and I've used them before (not with the I/O plugin) and the volume levels were fine.
  6. OK I missed that - that explains the panning, but still doesn't explain why dry OH is sent to one pair of outputs while wet OH is sent to another, and I still don't know what i/o settings are inside the i/o plug-in... @David Out 7-8 is the output for the HeadPhones send I hat set up for the drummer. Even if bypassed it dosen't change anything. I/O Settings : Output 1-2 of Ensemble going in SSL and Output of SSL going in Ensemble 5-6 analog. @EricBradley I did try with the SSL EQ switch "IN' on and off still the same result. @shivermetimbers I'll check the manual again to see if that functions exists. But I remember reading it thoroughly and not seeing this but I'll give it a check tomorow morning when I get to the studio.
  7. Just tried I get the same result, barely any volume. Even if I max out the I/O plugin input or output volume, I get a lot of issss and still a very low volume.
  8. Here's a Screenshot of the setup. There's also OH left going to Bus2 but I showed "single" so the picture wouldn't be too big. (Output 9-10 is my output for my Monitors) As for the SSL X Rack EQ there is no volume control aside from the +4db/-10db switch at the back.
  9. Im sending two mono (drum overhead) tracks (panned left and right) to a bus and outputing that Bus to my main out. On the Bus I inserted the I/O plugin to send the signal to SSL X Rack EQs. Now the I/O routing : I'm sending the signal through Analog outs of my Ensemble and coming back in Analog ins. I made sure +4db was checked on my Apogee for the Ins and Outs and did the same on the SSL EQ. Now when I put the plugin, I end up with very low volume. As soon as I bypass it, it goes back to normal volume level. Am I doing anything wrong here?
  10. I did that too, but I can verify permission on my Main HD, the ones I record on, I can only repair. Is that normal?
  11. I'm having the same problem, don't know if you've found a solution but... I'm recording on a second internal drive with a macpro on 10.6.8 (LP 9.1.5) Even when I create new projects, every time I delete a File I get this DIrectory Not Found error -120. I checked the file path to make sure it was the right "Audio Files" folder and it is. I trashed preferences, and still having the same problem. Any ideas what to try next? It's a real bummer to have to say OK to every file I delete after every take.
  12. Well said! and try renting a few different mics to see which one you like better according to your applications! I own a pair of 414, and I use them often, they sound very well. But they're pretty bright, they don't always fit the needs like ski said. The multi paterns, the pads and the High pass filters offered are a big plus! Of course buying a pair opens up possibilities in terms of stereo mic'ing but It's not very budget friendly!
