So, my macbook is filling up at a rate. Been putting it off for a while now, but am going to need to tackle the storage issue.
Macbook only has one firewire port, which has to run my apogee duet soundcard, but I also want to store all my audio etc for logic on a firewire drive and run it from there. I read on another post here that running stuff of a firewire drive actually opens up your processing power too. Is this true?
Obviously with only one port available I’ll need a splitter OR I have also read that a reasonable firewire drive will let you daisy chain other firewire devices off of it. Just wondering if anyone knew the optimal set up for this kind of problem?
Thanks a lot!
