  1. So, my macbook is filling up at a rate. Been putting it off for a while now, but am going to need to tackle the storage issue. Macbook only has one firewire port, which has to run my apogee duet soundcard, but I also want to store all my audio etc for logic on a firewire drive and run it from there. I read on another post here that running stuff of a firewire drive actually opens up your processing power too. Is this true? Obviously with only one port available I’ll need a splitter OR I have also read that a reasonable firewire drive will let you daisy chain other firewire devices off of it. Just wondering if anyone knew the optimal set up for this kind of problem? Thanks a lot! Macbook, Leopard, 2.4ghz processer, Logic 9, Apogee Duet, Arcam Stereo amp and Mission Monitors.
  2. I have found exactly the same thing happening to me. Everything else works fine, then UB just won't play. If you restart Mainstage everything is fine again until about five songs into the concert. Anyone come up with a solution? It's massively annoying! Anything I can turn off in the background? More memory (I only have 2GB at the moment) Ta
  3. Thanks a lot... turns out the problem was that I had somehow engaged the draw bar mode on the Axiom. Mainstage was neither the probelm nor the solution! All resolved now though, appreciate your answer!
  4. Hi all, Using Axiom 49 in mainstage to very satisfying effect. It's a really great controller and does everything I need to with mainstage. really easy to assign knobs etc. I am struggling with the sliders though! The nine sliders on the axiom are currently set so that a zero value is at the top of the sliders range, and the value 127 is at the bottom. I want to be able to change this so that when I assign the slider to a volume it's more intuitive and zero is when the slider is at the bottom of it's range and 127 is at the top. At the moment when I turn a slider "down", the volume turns up in mainstage and this is shown visually with the object I put in the workspace. I want to be able to turn the volume up when I move the slider "up". I have asked the same question in the maudio forums and no response. Was hoping my fellow Mainstage users might be able to offer more help! Thanks, Matt
