Hello, I just got Mainstage a couple of weeks ago and am preparing to use it for gigs in the following months. Upon opening the 8-channel mixer with one backing track and adding one backing track, not even having an instrument plugged in besides the computer microphone, the fan was intensely running. I've tried this several times and it runs a lot when I open only this mixer. I don't know too much about computers, so I'm just worried that if I were to try to play a gig using the mixer it might overheat my computer and mess it up, but not sure. Is it okay that the fan runs a lot using that application? Am I just paranoid? I've tried using the 8 backing tracks mixer and the fan barely runs at all, but then I get the feedback message when I add an instrument. I have a MacBook Pro with 3GB RAM, Snow Leopard, 2.33GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processors. Thanks. -Matt
