  1. David, you are a star!!! Thank you a lot! That's the best method to fix tempo!!! Works better than anything I have tried!!! Thanks a lot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  2. Ok, I create the new tempo set with one tempo for the whole track. But as a result I have got the same fluctuating tempo of the original again....
  3. Thanks David for so quick reply! However I turned on Flex for the track but no tempo pop-up menu showed up.
  4. Hi I am trying to accurately lock an old song with fluctuating tempo over the song to a grid of one set tempo. Firs, I tried flex, but was not really satisfied with the result. Then I tried beat mapping as someone on this forum advised to use beat mapping first, and then flex, then again beat mapping etc. However beatmapping obviously creates just a map of tempo changes so that Logic follows the tempo of the song and it doesn't actually change the tempo. My question is as follows: after I created the beat map, can Logic process the audio and change the tempo of each created tempo region to one set value? I tried time and stretch, but it doesn't work that way. Any help?
  5. Hi! Anyone knows where I can find the captioned?
  6. Thanks! What you posted is about french touch/disco genre who sample old 70-80s music. what I am interested in however is funky disco bass grooves from those times, so I can incorporate them in my songs. The songs are not sampled aold disco hits, but my own ones.
  7. Hey! Can anyone suggest decent sample libraries with disco funk bass lines (midi-s) and loops? I am really now into 70-80s disco music + nu disco but I am not a bass guitar player unfortunately.
  8. Thanks! Not so easy to do slipping for Logic users, is it? I wish there were a more simple way....
  9. Hey I found this video where the author uses FL loop editor to scroll through a sample (a disco track) and combine various parts of the sample to create a french touch tune. Is there such an editor/command or something in LogicPro? (sorry the tutorial is in German) He starts this editing at 25.07 using slip tool. P.S. Somehow I cannot make youtube code work in the post....
  10. Hey In this track by Madeon: at 0.27-0.28, the effect is slow down or bend down or anything else? Can you also suggest a cool tool for this kind of effect?
  11. Thanks guys! Ok, for my mistakenly spelt words and stupid abbreviations MJ - Michael Jackson Buss = Bass (sorry for misspelling) M5 - Maroon 5 Hope to hear from you more, folks
  12. Thanks guys! I am looking to more MJ like busses (I do have Moog with me) but kind of more modern tweaked version of them so to say, so they don't sound too old schoolish. I noticed that MJ would usually layer bass and use slightly different note parts for the layered basses in his music. Thus I have this question of layering. I also like the kind of bass M5 uses. Some of his songs also have layered bass, which would be 2 or more synthed bass timbres and one from electric bass. Thus again my question on layering. I have Massive, Moog, Sylenth1, D cam squad, Discovery etc.
  13. Hey all Anyone cares to share his thoughts about the best software and hardware synth which is especially useful for synthesizing bass sounds (I mean synthed bass sounds and not real bass)? I also started the practice of layering bass sounds. Any advice or guideline on that (questions like, principle behind choosing different layers, how to blend them properly, etc.) Would appreciate any reply.
