I have a unibody MBP 13" (purchased in December) and I just got an Alesis MultiMix USB mixer to use with my Roland RD300-GX stage piano and Mainstage (in a live setting). The mixer uses the USB connection to the laptop for sound input AND output (Note: there is no knob for the laptop sound other than the master out knob). I will gig with it tomorrow, but it seems to be a perfect solution for my small setup (just the stage piano and the laptop) - the mixer is small and sits nicely atop my monitor (and reduces the runs I need to make to our main mixing board).
