Hi there. Just click on the channel strip of the instrument you want to transpose then go to the inspector below and select the "midi input" tab. There you will find the transposer you're looking for.

Yes, you can assign the patch change function to some keyboard note if you want. Also, you can see the volume variations on screen. Good luck!

Hello, after having installed the update i got a problem, which occurs every time i open an old project having playback files in it. An error message appears on loading some playbacks saying that the file has tempo changes and that this version of MS doesn't support tempo changes. Same message if i try to load a new audio file bounced with tempo changes. This "warning" doesn't seem to affect the performance though, but if you have many playbacks in your projects the loading time becomes much longer. Who can explain this thing? Thank you very much.

Maybe not a grat tip, anyway... you might bounce a certain number of playback tracks onto a single, longer, track. Anyhow i think it will be an important point of future releases of MS to give different options about how to play subsequent playbacks.

You're right Doug, i didn't see Jimi is running logic 8, so MS 1 i guess. Anyway, after several tries i found that also in MS 2 it is possible to change image for each set or patch, although it is a quite complex task . The only way seems to be: - in layout mode inserting and sizing a "background" object - in edit mode (set or patch level) clicking on the background box - in layout mode clicking again on the background box and then on the image box in the screen control inspector, so that it becomes kinda highlighted - back to edit mode - WOW - a screen control inspector is available on bottom, where an image can be selected. IMHO this is a little "bug" that could be easily solved by programmers

Thank you Jimi for the reply. I haven't just understood what you mean about "empty image box". I can't see an "image box" among the controls in layout mode. So maybe you refer to another control. Can you explain please? Thank you again.

Hi all! I'm working to get my ideal layout in MS. Due to my bad memory i'd like to assign a sheet music image for each set. What i tried is adding a "background" control to the layout of each set and selecting a different image with sheets music for each set. Ms seems to accept ONLY one image for the whole concert however, so if i try to load an image to the second or third set, it takes place also on the first set. Any idea or tips? Thanks

Same trouble here, updating from 7. I also missed two Garage Band plugs. Well the quickest way to fix it for me was to copy the missing files from another computer with logic 7 installed, so to compare their position in folders too. Ciao

Nothing but notes and usual control/program changes... The only thing that seems to work is copying all tracks and channel strips on a new file, but in this case the trouble is waiting for all samples loading every time i go from a window to another (hundreds of times so )

Hi all... this is a very strange issue... At the end of a midi work, i pasted and copied part of all tracks at the end of the song. The copied part played so strange though, then i had a look to the transposition track and found out what you can see on attachment. All key changes are on corrispondence of the notes of the rhythm guitar, where i used a Sculpture instrument. Now if i try and delete all that changes, not only the copied part but the whole tune plays queer. Any idea?
