  1. Hello all OK I think I found a fix to the problem. I'm not sure its the best fix but it's what I found. Delete the User Preferences You can resolve many issues by restoring Logic Express back to its original settings. This will not impact your song files. To reset your Logic Express user preference settings to their original state, do the following: 1. In the Finder, go to ~/Library/Preferences. Note: The tilde (~) represents your Home folder. 2. Remove the com.apple.logic.express.plist file from the Preferences folder. Note that if you have programmed any custom key commands, this will reset them to the defaults. You may wish to export your custom key command as a preset before performing this step. See the Logic Express User Manual for details on how to do this. If you are having trouble with a control surface in Logic Express, then you may also wish to delete the com.apple.logic.express.cs file from the Preferences folder. 3. If you have upgraded from Logic Express 7, you may also need to remove ~/Library/Preferences/Logic/com.apple.logic.express.
  2. Thanks Dave I sure hope so It sound great I just cant see it. All The Best John
  3. Thanks In advance Dave Hmm OK so I did all that still nothing. I took another photo - this while I'm strumming the guitar so you can see my levels are not to low...
  4. Dave I thought that was the case also....I am almost to loud (peaking into the red). Any other ideas?
  5. Thanks So I tried that I went to the extreme and got this? Still isn't right though? When I recorded before I didn't mess with the Zoom Sliders. FYI: I have already rebooted and opened a new project to see if that was the problem...Same deal.
  6. Hey all So I'm loving Logic - Its a blast and everyday I'm learning new stuff. But this one has me baffled??? See Image If you look at the Track Audio 1 - I can hear what I played there, but can not see what I recorded? Any Ideas? - I think I hit something by accident??? Thanks
  7. Ah - OK so I just go to the recorded track and select "NO INPUT"....Thanks a million!
  8. Thanks Scott Right after I posted I figured it out! HAHAHAHA, Hey I'm learning! Cheers man!
  9. Hey all NEWBIE Question!!! I have a Presonus Firestudio Project with 8 XLR and 2 mono 1/4 inputs. We mic'ed our drums (using the 8 XLR) and the 2 mono 1/4 were my scratch tracks which can be deleted. What is the best way to move the 8 drum tracks so I can free up the tracks to record the bass, lead, rhythm, vocals, etc.... sections? I've seen some stuff on folders and bouncing, but need to be able to edit when final mixing. Thanks
  10. Hello all I am new to Logic. I have Logic 9 Express and want to record Live drums through 8 xlr inputs. Here is my setup: Presonus Firestudio Project And a Mac Book Pro. So, my question: How do I record to multiple tracks at the same time?
  11. Can anyone tell me what I do to record multiple tracks at once (like a drumset). I think you check the ascending box then tell which input it goes to.... So when I did that, It shows it recorded on all 8 tracks - but only sound comes out of first track??? HELP!!!! If I so choose: Can I use Presonus FireStudio with 8 xl inputs and plug that straight into my mac (in ther words is that all I would need)? Thanks
