Maybe someone had this problem before. I loaded and saved samples to ultrabeat and did a song but everytime I open the song all the samples are not found. Its supposed to be loaded there just as I left it but Ultrabeat doesn't find the samples. Why is this?

Does anyone know or have experience working at 96K on Logic Pro 8. I'm having trouble playing back my tracks , It keeps stopping after a few seconds of playing and gives me an error message that it is too much data for logic to handle. How can I make it all to work without having to convert down to a lower sample rate cause I want to stay at 96K. I am using a macbook Pro with 2gig ram and Apogee Ensemble with 2 harddrives at 7200. I'm guesing I need more harddrives with RAID or/and a Dual Quad Mac Pro machine. What do you guys think? Thanks in advance.

Thanks a lot for that I'm going to be trying that out. One more question . When I'm mixing my song How can I lock in my volume so that I don't accidently move it. In Pro tools I can go into automation and set the volume for the track then if I try to move that track with my mouse it would let me it will go back to where the automation volume is. How can I do this in Logic 8 cause I tried the same thing as in PT. I set the automation level for the volume but then if i move the fader with my mouse it will go to where my mouse moves it and I don't want it to go there I want it to stay where the automation volume is. Hello DOes anyone out there know how to make an Audio region into a midi region? I need to take an audio Kick drum 8 bar region and convert a copy to Midi so that I can use my ESX24 to trigger a new Kick drum. Thanks in advance.

Yeah Unbelievable. I have a MacBook Pro the first ones that came out with the Intel Dou 2.16 and I did everything it says on the web site and it does not hold up it crashes Logic when I switch buffer settings and when i playback it sounds Glitchy . The best work around is to have 2 Computers one running the atmosphere and Trilogy as a host and to trigger and sequence from your main computer. downside is that you need to buy a midi interface and an audio interface separate from your main computer to pull it off. make sure to run the digital out or spdif from computer number 2 to the main computer interface digital input. That is the best solution for rock solid performance. BUt WHEN are they coming with Native version its been Years.

Yeah I downloaded the new version for RMX and it does not give me the option for multi outs in logic mixer but in the RMX mixer i do see options for outs A B C D E F but Logic pro 8 does not give me options for multi outs with Stylus RMX. And I did get the latest RMX from the Spectrasonics web site. Also its NOvember 2007 and still NO TRilogy and Atmosphere what is going on over there.

It was right under my nose. So if you guys get that same midi problem then make sure you check this first. When I saw me main output 1-2 it had the Logic Limiter and the SSL Comp on it. and that was what caused my playing the keyboard to be off a second from my hitting the keys. As soon as I took it off my playing was on time from me hearing it. So I suggest don't use plug in on your output tracks uless your totally finished with your song. Thanks guys.

Hi Guy's I'm using Macbook Pro 17 with Apogee Ensemble and I'm in the middle of working on a song. I have 3 vocal tracks and about 9 audio instrument track with plug in on most tracks. I seem to be getting a delay when i trigger midi. I mean when I play my keyboard i hear it a second late it bugs me out. I have my buffer set to 128 and I'm still getting it. What do you think it is. My Rewire doesn't work now for some reason. when I open Reason after Logic it says that Rewire 2 is now installed. I don't know what happened.

Now I know that Logic Pro uses 32Bit floating point math and Pro Tools HD uses 48Bit Dual Persision Fixed Math. I am Curious to know if anyone out there knows if When using Logic Pro as a front end to Pro tools HD another words using its Hardware and Plug ins, Does Logic use 48Bit Dual Persision Math ????? Ok Thanks I'm gonna try that. I'll let you know. but I seen that buss on the audio track output but why doesn't it say buss or aux 3-4 for stereo it just says buss 3 buss 4 buss 5 and so on what if I want the stereo sum of my vocals to go into an aux stereo input?

I Find that Pro tools is the best software for mixing because of its routing flexibility. But I'm a Logic User for composing and making beats and arrangements. I would like to know how to Route lets say like 10 audio Tracks that have vocal stacks for a hook lets say and take those tracks into a stereo 2 track Aux track just like I do in pro tools so that I can apply plug ins to the 2 track sum of those 10 tracks.
