  1. Hi there, and thanks will test it today later on. Wont forget the link and time. You assumed right! Many Thanks
  2. And don't forget to map the pitch bend and mod in layout mode also for each keyboard.
  3. MainStage loads everything when you open up the "Concert". There is no load time between patches. CCT and you can also program mainstage to respond to program change msg You can have piano on 001 and rhodes on 002, on your controller change programs the same way you do with Receptor. In every gig i play the same songs in sequence so i just programmed a key to move up and another to move down. You can re-arrange your list afterwords. Dp
  4. Hi there, I dont know if you have any midi gear but with a cheap Korg nanoPad you can program a pad on the korg to bypass a effect in mainstage. You can even use it for triggering your backing tracks. Or use a Behringer FCB1010.
  5. Save it as a channel strip then you just select the channel strip on the other concert.
  6. Imagine you have 40 alias of Sound A and for some reason you have to delete the patch that contains the original Sound A. Is there a solution? or do i have to maintain the patch because of alias.
  7. Hi there, don't touch your midi controller and start scrolling thou path's, check if mainstage receives any incoming midi signal to se if it's the controller send mute or something about mainstage. Sometimes where looking in the wrong place.
  8. 7Alien has a nice one but only windows, been waiting for the midi harmonizer for almost 2 years, no MAC version!
  9. This worked for me!!! Thanks a lot! had a folder with a Stop sign, just edited info on permissions to read only, rebooted logic, and i'm good to go
  10. Hi there, can you start by telling us your buffer size, what AU plugins you have running on those patch's that spike you CPU and how many effect plugins your using.
  11. Hi again, most of the songs i play i get it on a single patch, but there are some that i decided to make intro/song.I use alias for every Kontakt patch i use. But that's something i think has to change in the future. Imagine you have 12 alias of the same patch, next year your band say's your not playing song nº2 anymore, so you delete that song, when you go to song nº5 you don't have that sound playing! Ups it was an alias! Oh no, i have 11 more alias! About CPU, try a higher buffer instead of trying to get the lowest latency possible. Sometimes mainstage say's CPU is on hot spot but i dont see any of the 4 cores above 50%, nor there are dropouts. I don't use any plugin in 32bit cause the audio bridge is unstable and to relaunch it you get 10s of silence
  12. Thanks you for your post. But i'm looking for a midi harmonizer, check 7alien's videos and you'll see it's very cool.
  13. Ok i think i got a good way for you to jump around a bit but this method could bring you more problems But answers your question Lets see, Imagine you have 8 patch's that you want to access with just one click. In layout mode create 8 drum pads Learn them one by one use a different midi channel Now in edit mode on patch nº1 select pad nº1, go to screen control inspector and choose Actions, current patch, click Map Parameters and click the patch that you want it to be in drumpad 1 EX: Patch nº is Piano, every time you click on drumpad 1 you'll go straight to that Piano. Do this for all 8 drumpad's and all patch's you want this to happen. I dont use this cause imagine your piano patch is on patch nº 1 and your playing patch 32, ok you click the pad, you get the piano, now what about going back to patch 32? do i program drumpad 2 to jump to 32, will my concert get messed up, ther will be somewhere down the road this method wont be that great. But then again you have your decision, i think i answered your question! Happy Mainstage Playing!
  14. Hi there, i'm at the office cant really dig in to it, but the way i work i never need to go back. Well if for some reason you need to change patch in a single song make your patch's that way. Make a Set with the name of the song and have your patchs in there just in case you have to move your song list. Patch 1 Intro Patch 2 Verse Patch 3 Chorus Patch 4 Verse Patch 5 etc, etc That's how i do it! i do have 8G of RAM but never got 4G full till now... i'll dig in to it at home later on see if there can be another way to do this.
