Quick question. I know a lot of people pirate their plug-ins and other software. But if you could buy plug-ins, sample packs, loops, etc. at a steep discount; and support small developers/content creators at the same time, would you? There will always be people that pirate but I'm just curious if there are people that would pay for their stuff if it was on sale or cheaper.

I'm probably super late but I just discovered that Logic can run in 64 bit mode. The only thing is 32-bit plug-ins require a "bridge" to run which is kind of annoying. Most of my plug-ins are still 32-bit. Anyway, just thought I would share in case others didn't know. That site has lots of other good tips and tricks as well.

Is there a way to import more than one file at a time? I have folders of patches and doing them one by one would take forever! I like Native Instruments plug-ins b/c you can easily point to your patches where ever they are saved and populate the db.

Thanks for all the responses. My key command for "split regions by playhead" was empty. I figured it was a key command issue but I didn't know which one to change. This was my first post and all the responses were very helpful even though this was a simple fix. Happy to be a logic user! Thanks guys!

I am trying to slice audio files using the "/" key instead of the scissor tool but for some reason I am not able to do so. I have seen videos where this is done ( ) but it doesn't work for me. From what I understand the "/" should be the default. Do I need to set up the key command or something? P.S. I tried both forward and back slashes ("/" "\") and neither works
