  1. Hi, ok thank you very much for this precision. Yes for sure I sell it including the XS-code and the serial, all the DVDs, books,... the full pack so. He has a Mac Mini from 2012: -can he hook up a USB Stick and install a Mac OS Tiger 10.4.9 (there are 2nd hand cds on the web) (3GB) and all the Logic Studio 8 Pack (46GB) on it? A 64GB USB stick should be enough, but maybe a 128GB one would be more comfortable if he needs space to run and record his projects on the stick too, what do you advise?
  2. Hi the new user wishes of course to register it under his name. -Do I have to inform Apple that I officially sold it to this person? How do I have to process this? -(Logic X is installed on my computer but this is totally independent right?) -Also the new user can install a Tiger (v. 10.4) on an external hard disk to install and operate properly the entire pack? -Also will he need to find a 2nd hand Tiger dvd? Or is it possible to find it online? Thank you for your support:) Francois
  3. I mean: the latest updates of Mac OS 10.4 and 10.5 are the only ways to be sure Logic Studio 8 works?
  4. Thank you for your reply. So the latest updates of 10.4 and 10.5 are the only ways to be sure it works?
  5. Hi till which version of Mac OS are all softwares of Logic Studio stable? I mean for the pack including Logic Pro 8 Thank you for your help,
  6. Ok so I just do an extrapolation from 44.1KHz to 48KHz and it will be ok for theatres broadcasting and DVD releases. And for the bit depths do i extrapolate to 24bit? Thank you for your help!
  7. Hi, i've got a proposition regarding an Audio Post-Production for a movie. The trouble is that the dialogues were recorded in cd quality: 16bit 44.1KHz. For movies normally it's in 24bit 48KHz. 16bit 48KHz is also ok. Is 16bit 44.1KHz exploitable for broadcasting in theatres and for dvds realization? Thanks for your help!
  8. Ok thank you Eric. The most important thing for Audio Post-Production is the 48KHz sample rate so. At the end, will I need to bounce in 24bit 48KHz, whatever the bit depths that the audio tracks are? And therefore, in the preferences of the session, at its creation, do i have to set up 24 bit?
  9. Hi, I have an Audio Post-Production proposition. The cameraman used a Pentax camera whom the audio bit depth is 16 bit and the sample rate is 48KHz. Is it ok or must the bit depth must be in 24 bit? Thank you for your advice:)
  10. Hey Mike, thank you very very much for your hi-detailed answer!
  11. Hi how much and how (per minute, per second?) can I rate an audio-post production for a movie? (before taxes) (I live in Berlin, Germany). This includes: -Production Dialogue Editing -ADR [Automated Dialogue Replacement] : i will also have to record the replacement dialogues with my own field recorder -then looping -Sound Effects Editing and Design -Foley -Music Composition -Music Editing -Mixing I will use my own home studio hardware and softwares. Do I have to be in 24bit 44.1KHz? The movie will have a 80min duration and the director wants to make a prior 30min short. Thank you for your advice.
  12. hi i simply want to record on the fly what i play in logic to a new audio track (i don't want to bounce because i want to keep the effect i hear which is not hearable in a bounce) thank you for your help Francois
