Hi Guys, is there a way of opening a Logic X arrange page in Logic 9?

Sorry if this has already been covered... but is Logic 9.1.8 better or worse than on 10.8.5?

Birk, do you not get custom templates with it?

I have to agree... My Main issue is the mixer page... I find it hard to see the difference between channels and loading AU's is a pain in the bum bum! TBH, I've moved back over to Logic 9, I find it much easier to navigate on... everything seems... easier! I like the layout better on L9 anyways!

Nothing major... just would be nice if they could be fixed: 1. In Logix X and 9, my click tracks (metro) output is low on the mixer and set to Output 11-12... and way to default this 0.0db and Output 1&2? 2. Could I programme Logic X to open up automatically with the arrange page on my left screen and the mixer page on the right screen every time?

I use CTRL and ALT quite often in Logic 9 to zoom into a section. Seems like in X, it gets stuck on the zoom tool until you press both ctrl and alt again... then it returns to the pointer tool? Anyone else getting this?

I'm sure Logic 9 used to have a "match" tab in the AL section... so you can select, lets say, Bass... then press the match button to have the ones closest to your tempo / key at the top. Has this been removed from X?

Recently, my 8-core Mac Pro has been running its fan at such a fast speed, that the noise is becoming unbearable. I've tried everything... Activity monitor... resetting SMC... A friend of mine suggested that I try a clean install. I have no issue doing this. If I make a clone of my startup drive and then copy this to a new drive, will Logic be OK with the plug-ins? Or will I have to go in and authorise each one again?

You can no longer sort apple loops via % match. Unless I'm missing something?

does it matter that its a stereo file?
