  1. Thank you for your reply. Where can i find this database file? Thanks, Carey
  2. The presets in Alchemy are not showing in the browser along with a 'Refreshing Library' message. How long should it take to refresh the library? Carey
  3. Thank you for your reply. Yes i contacted the developer and he says that they can't reproduce the problem i'm having. He suggested that i remove the plugin 'preferences' files and restart Logic. Unfortunately that didn't work. If you have any other suggestions, i'd be happy to try it. Carey
  4. I've just installed the Wave Arts Power Suite 5.8. When launching the plugins in Logic 9.1.8 on OSX 10.9.4 there seems to be an issue with the plugin header and GUI that only affects the Wave Arts Power Suite as seen in the attached image. Is this a known issue with Logic 9? Thanks, Carey
  5. When i create a multitimbral instrument in Logic Pro 9, then select one of its tracks, the mixer view is set to show 'All'. If i select the 'Arrange' view setting and then select another track, the 'All' setting is restored automatically. I would like on the 'Arrange' view setting to be active at all times. Is this possible? Thanks, Carey
  6. Hi there, I'm having a problem with the Auto Track Zoom function in Logic Pro 9. When i disable it, then save my project, the next time i open the project it is enabled again. I can't seem to turn it off permanently. Thanks, Carey
  7. Thank you for the workflow tip. I will definitely try that. cheers, Carey
  8. Thanks for your reply. The audio region loops nicely when Melodyne Editor is disabled (Option-Click insert slot). It seems to happen when, after the transfer to Melodyne, i loop the region playback. Strange indeed. I should also note that no pops occur when looping playback within the Melodyne Editor plugin itself. Also i've bounced the original event and set the locators to the event. No artifacts when cycling playback. I noticed the Melodyne manual says to place the playhead before the beginning of the audio region before initiating the transfer to Melodyne. Is there a specific reason for this? Thanks, Carey
  9. Hi there, I seem to get a little pop at the beginning of a loop that has been analyzed by Melodyne Editor plugin. I am running the latest version of both Logic 9 and Melodyne Editor 1.3. When i set the locators to approximately 1/4 measure immediately before the beginning of the audio event, the pop is no longer audible. I tried increasing by buffer settings on my FIreWire 1814 to no avail. Does anyone have any advice on how to rectify this issue. Thanks in advance, Carey
  10. Thanks for your reply. It makes sense that those would be considered "Shared Media". Cheers, Carey
  11. Could someone please tell me the difference between these two menu items 'Shared Garageband Settings' and 'Garageband'. I understand they contain different items but specifically why are they not just lumped together as 'Garageband Instruments' I'd be grateful. Carey
  12. Yes that is what i meant. Thanks for the reply. Carey
