  1. Yeah, I meant I was 5 cents sharp
  2. For the first time ever, I am using pitch shift. Turns out my violin was a consistent 5 cents flat for an entire take that I want to use. So I set pitch shift to -5 cents and it sounds perfect.... except that it is way behind the rest of the tracks now. (By way behind I mean, noticeably late.) I am confused why that would be. Wouldn't logic know the latency that is created and adjust everything? Just to be sure I wasn't going crazy, I bounced the violin track with the pitch shift on it and dragged it into a new track, bypassed pitch shift in the original track, and sure enough, the newly imported track is very noticeably late. Any suggestions? Much thanks!
  3. So, you have it set up in a project and it is working just right? But then you open a new project and it isn't working? If I understand you correctly. Each project, as far as I know, is unrelated. If you are wanting to set up a template and have it always work the same way, you will have to get everything set up the way you want it and then create a template. Then if you start from there, everything you have mapped will always be there.
  4. Wondering if any of you are using Lemur with Logic and are having trouble receiving midi data back to Lemur from logic? I'm using it with Mainstage2 and having no problems when set up using audio/midi setup and creating a session. But the daemons update and refresh in the case of a lost connection. Audio/Midi setup doesn't. But Mainstage2 is seeing the daemon inputs but not the outputs. I know the daemons work though because I'm using it with Ableton without a problem. How can I get logic/mainstage to see the daemon outputs? I assume the architecture is similar.
  5. BTW, the iPad and lemur seem to work perfectly in Ableton, so I'm guessing I have it all set up right. Just missing something in MS2.
  6. Yes, I have. My incoming ports are all there (all the available daemons) but at the send midi to field, they aren't there. Only some other unattached, greyed out controllers.
  7. The send value to section is greyed out. Why might that be?
  8. Hey there. I have have a set of 8 mainstage faders set up and working just right. I set up Lemur's standard 8 fader midi control on my iPad. I was easily able to map it to the mainstage faders and it's working beautifully. HOWEVER, if I updated the Mainstage fader with the mouse, they don't update on the iPad (on Lemur.) I'm sure there is a way to do this. Anybody know how? I have the Lemur daemon in and out both set. (on both the ipad and on the computer.) Thanks, Adam
  9. Oh, great, thanks. I assumed it was compatible with other brands of pre-amps as long as they had ADAT out.
  10. Hey All, I guess this isn't strictly a Logic question, but since I use my RME UFX with logic, I figured you all might be a good place to start. Anyway, I'd like to add 8 more pre-amped inputs to my UFX. I see that RME sells an octamic preamp, but I'm wondering, are there other options? Could I connect them with a light pipe? Or is there some other easy way of connecting the two units? Can I use a different brand of preamp and still connect the two? I'd like to be able to use RME's total mix to control (gain and route) all the inputs. Get where I'm gong with this? Thanks for any suggestions.
  11. I'm SOOO close to achieving my goal of getting Loopback to work like my boomerang hardware looper. I have lots of reasons for wanting this, none of which are your business. (kidding.... I have issues with cords and pedals and portability.) Anyway, I have 3 instances of loopback plugged in on one channel strip. I want to use them to go from Verse to Chorus to Bridge and back and forth again. The ONLY thing that isn't working the way I want is that when I switch between the loopback instances, it stops the one I'm recording into from recording. It still plays to the end of the loop cycle, and the next one starts recording exactly on time, but yeah, the one I came from has a big audio hole in it. Anyway, I'll attach it. Try it. Hit record on Looper A, then on looper B. You'll see how A plays to the end of the loop but that record turns off. Obviously, I want A to record t the end of the loop and then for B to start. Same when going from B to C. Any thoughts? Thanks! Looper Example Template.concert.zip
  12. Anybody else having an issue with the colors in Logic? As my playhead progresses, it randomly changes he colors it passes over and leaves a trail of stinginess behind it. Am I the only one? This is actually a tame example. Seems totally random btw.
  13. Testing Guess I had to remove the ??? Before that, it was a tiff file. That's no good too, right? Is there a place on the forum that explains how to do this stuff? Hate wasting your time with these questions. thanks, Adam
  14. Well, that's what I did but it says: logic colors???.jpg is an invalid filename.
  15. Would somebody kindly point me to the place on this forum where it explains how to upload images? Despite my best attempts, I can not seem to figure it out on my own. Just to clarify, I have a Logic question and a screen shot that I need to use to explain the question. It's sitting on my desk top and I'd like to share it with y'all. You've GOT to see this! Thanks
