Hi there guys, I bought second hand a Tascam Fw 1884 mixer firewire. I did some research and I found out that Tascam FW 1884 on the latest Mac Os 10.7.3 run just on 32 bit and and Tascam so far and probably never will do any update on drivers to run the mixer on 64 bit. As you probably know working on big project on Logic, will run out of memory especially if you are using lots of plug ins, plus prob willl crush Logic at the same time. Please! Is that true? How come apple doesn't have any solution on this issue? This mixer is pretty cool, but I can believe that runs just on 32 bit Check this out broken link removed by moderator Any help will be nice, otherwise will bring back and get back my money or will use focusrite Liquid 56 as audio interface and Task as a Control Surface and Mixer ...?? I've got your point...! it true, Is very squished, but I'm more with arrangements and mixing rather than mastering. Ez mix is good for mixing, but Ozone 5 is the man for mastering, but is a new "MONSTER" for me and still need to learn. The problem in this track is the drum. Once you try to do the master on in it.., just because my lack of knowledge, I'm loosing the drum especially on snare and it kills the song. This drum are sampler from ez drummer, great software, but so hard during edit and mastering make it work on the way you'd like. Studio drummer from Komplete 8 much easier, but especially a real drummer can be even better:) Here some of my original songs.
